I have owned this car for 8 months now, around 7k kms done. It’s a comfortable and capable vehicle. It gives a consistent 18+ km / litre on average , overtakes are no issue at all . Yes it does get vocal when u push the car but hey who doesn’t love the sound of an ICE engine . Power is plenty trust me you will never feel “underpowered” , people seem to under estimate what 186 bhp means, it’s plentiful for Indian roads. You will not miss ADAS . Only a few cons. The sound system is just bad, even the hydros sound system with the 2 extra speakers is the same so don’t expect good quality music , it’s decent that’s it. The tyres look small compared to the size of the car but smaller tyres gives u better ride quality on this car . Overall I am very happy with this vehicle. On a good day I easily get 20+ km/litre within cities.
Maruthi needs to try fortuner 🚗 badging with Alto K10 price 😅😂

i still love the look of the invicto because very unique at the front but problem is some of the features are missing from the innova hycross like adas i mean like come on at half a lakh rupees it should come with adas but it wasn't on the invicto 😄🥰☺️
sidewalls on 18" are too thin for Indian roads, this is a practical change.

All these Maruti - Toyota collab cars are manufactured at Toyota plant or at maruti??
It depends on variants. According to dealer, with Grand Vitara/Hyryder, the hybrid engine cars are made by toyota and the normal engine cars are made by Maruti. Toyota doesn't want to do too much manufacturing in India because of high taxes etc.

@@Shrey0609the sales executives lack finer technical details. Glanza also rolls out of Maruti Suzuki production line and later on the Toyota badges are slapped on to the vehicles.

If same plant is manufacturing both cars invicto and Hycross, how will they be able to meet demands, i think Invicto will be manufactured by Maruti and Hycross by Toyota or

Maruti is learning slowly. When Brezza top model with the new version reached 15 lakhs, we doubted the price tag, but Maruti is selling lot many of that model.

I like it, as a practical people mover to me it checks all the boxes. Would I take it over the Toyota, I can live without ADAS,the ottoman and it has more robust and comfortable wheels plus its a lakh cheaper, its a no brainer.
Marketwise, this car puts Maruti in the premium price tag space. It prepares the market for a 30+ lakh Maruti which will be needed when they drop their electric car next year.
I wish Maruti would put this engine in a Baleno. That would be some car.

No it's not doing that. Toyota has done lots of badge engineering with other brands (Daihatsu, Subaru, BMW, etc) and they don't lose any image because the badge engineering is always well known and the product is usually good. In the case of BMW with the Supra, Toyota actually helped BMW's brand image a little bit because BMW is known for unreliability and Toyota is the gold standard for reliability.

So what's the diff between a Toyota brand and maruti suzuki brand car .both of the brand car looks similar same 😂😅.
Will buy Invicto or Hycross only when they will come as plug-in hybrid, with atleast 20kw battery, ~100kg more weight, but with 125-150km practical EV range.
Although I enjoy panoramic sunroof but it will be great if solar panelled rooftop, another ~20kg weight, but ~50-60km free range is given as option.
By 2025, I would like to see a complete plugin hybrid with CNG, Electric & Solar.
And by 2027, CNG to be replaced with hydrogen.
Here needless to say, loaded with ADAS, paddle shifters, regenerative braking, LiDar, Satellite Wi-Fi, Air suspension, Fridge, massager seats, ambient lighting depicting kind of fuel & rpm, etc...

Ever since the Toyota Maruti collaboration has happens Aloha products have been released
Most of the bloggers emphasise on the part that Toyota has better brand value and service but lately the focus has been shifted on the extensive dealer and service network of Maruti but the sad and grim reality is that Maruti is truly incapable of handling premium product yet …I say this cos I own both hyryder and vitara strong hybrid and stay in a B grade city
Though I hv to sent my Toyota for 100km to get service done but when it comes to Maruti the staffs are ill trained lack knowledge what hybrid is about and how it works
Out of two times
once they discharged my vehicle completely cos they kept it ignition on for hours as they didn’t realise it’s on battery cos the vehicle was not making noise (this shows how ill trained they are )
Second time 10k km service they left they screws opened of the battery at rear and constantly error was beeping on the instrument cluster .
So just cos it’s cheap and just cos it’s Maruti with good pan Indian network of service doesn’t mean we should invest such hefty amount in these premium cars at least .

Why did you bought two similar cars . Just curious. You could have got car of different body type in same bracket .

@@AdityaKumar-yd2ed did you also consider Honda city hybrid at the time of purchase ? Although it’s a sedan but it’s also a strong hybrid. Or you were specifically going for crossover only. I am curious because I would get of the hybrid in future and cross segment purchase won’t be issue for me.
@@chinmaysawant9275 sedan was not a option at all …undoubtedly the city hybrid is better than Atkinson cycle based Toyota and Maruti hybrids. In fact the city hybrid is fun to drive too .

@@PiyushNikam Of course it does. But very hard to find a dealership that service properly as they are limited . But with brands like MSIL , Toyota and even Hyundai tons of dealership available , Toyota being the least . Even if u r not satisfied with one , u can easily find another one next time . Same isn't the case with Tata and Mahindra despite being Indian brands .They still can't maintain quality of service like these brands . Sell the vehicle and their job is done is their attitude . One should be extremely lucky to find a good one with them while for Suzuki , Toyota and Hyundai brands finding a good quality one is a piece of cake . Body quality might not be as good as Tata & Mahindra , but in these aspects like after sales service , less niggles or niggle free ownership , they are next level
