I would like to ask, can I present literature review in academic conferences, example I have a topic that i am interested in, then I will do research on published journals about the topic, I will put the data tohether, cite my references, can I present this in an academic conference? Is it a common practice?
You can publish it in conference. But the same data cannot be used for submitting your journal paper. As the publishers are very strict towards the plagiarism. It is irrespective whether your own work comes under plagiarism or not.

If your data is once published in any conference and accessible online, then your entire content (if used anywhere else) will be considered plagiarized.
