Fire Alarm Activation At My High School 9-14-2023

Yesterday was a short day at my high school, and the fire alarms went off just as I started my Photography class. The alarm lasted longer than normal because no people were near the annunciator because no one was in the hallway offices at the time of the activation. The reason for the alarm was a Smoke Detector activation in the portable G Bathrooms, which was possibly caused by students vaping/smoking.

Same problem as last year elementary! Kids reported a vaping in the bathroom and set off the alarms. (Or could be lights that are burning out making the vaping)

You guys really should leave the building every time there’s a false alarm because you never know until afterwards, whether it’s real or false your school really needs to take fire alarms more seriously

the fire alarms at my high school went off twice last year because of people vaping in the bathroom which I guess set off a smoke detector in the bathroom
