Before moving on from one game to another, I'd recommend going easter egg and secret hunting, that's where a large part of the lore come from and every game has a ton of secrets in them. Its fine if you have to use a guide for this as some things are absurdly rare or crazy difficult to find
Agreed. The secredt reveal huge Pieces of the story and it is so worth it to experience the easter eggs

The reason you got jumpscared so much is because you didn’t put the mask on fast enough, the Toys are a bit more forgivable but the withered ones kill you if you don’t do it immediately.
I’ve seen playthroughs where there was a millisecond of hesitation and they killed the player even for that slight delay so it can take some trial and error to get the correct time.
A milisecond doesn’t change anything dude that’s 1 thousandth of a second

Just a small bit of lore to give you so you might have a slightly better understanding of the games:
Fnaf 2 is a prequel to Fnaf 1, which is why phone guy was still alive and he mentioned that the animatronics can walk around in the day (something he said was removed from the animatronics in Fnaf 1). Fnaf 1 takes place in 1993, Fnaf 2 takes place in 1987.
Speaking of 1987, the birthday party phone guy was talking about in the night 6 call is believed to be the day the Bite of ‘87 took place, the victim most likely being Jeremy Fitzgerald: the night guard you played as
I assume you already know this, but the purple guy in the foxy minigame is sort of the “main villain” of the series. To make a super long story short: purple guy killed a bunch of kids and stuffed their bodies into the animatronics (thats why phone guy mentioned the smell of the old robots in this game). He’s also the one that used the “spare yellow suit in the back” phone guy was talking about in night 6 as thats the purples guy method of luring the kids into a safe space to kill them. The spare yellow suit phone guy was talking about will also be explained in the next game, by the way.
I know this is a big dump of info, but theres really no easy way to explain the lore without going in depth. Have fun with Fnaf 3!
So is the guard the same in FNAF 1 as FNAF 2? and why is the bite of '87 do important or is it not I wasn't paying attention in the first game
@@Some.Internet.Stranger in Fnaf 2 you play as two night guards: nights 1-6 being Jeremy Fitzgerald who, during the birthday party after night 6 becomes the victim of the bite of 87, suffering a major injury in the frontal lobe of the brain. Night 7 replaces the now hospitalized Fitzgerald with Fritz Glade, who immediately gets fired for tampering with the animatronics once you beat 10/20 mode.
Fnaf 1 has you playing as only one night guard through all 7 nights, Mike Schmidt. There are technically two night guards, though, if you count the time before the game takes place but still during the fnaf 1 establishments run as phone guy was filling in for Fritz Glade’s position after the latter got fired.
The Bite of 87 is sort of important but not entirely relevant to the overarching story. It was one of, if not _the_ first major mystery of the lore (being mentioned in the very first game), and has sorta grandfathered itself into still being significant. I believe it was also a major reason for shutting down the Fnaf 2 location.

Bonnie is cannonly male, which Scott Cawthon confirmed sometime after the first game came out since no one was really certain about what Bonnie's gender was, especially since he has a very feminine name.
I know it doesn't matter what gender or pronouns you use for a fictional character, but after hearing that one CZcamsr and Mike use feminine pronouns, I started fixating on it a little.

In this game basically flash the hallway and vents every so often and keep the music box wound up and you'll be good, put the mask on when someones in the vent or enters through the main hall, make sure to flash foxy every couple of seconds when hes in the main hall, besides that you can check cams to know where the animatronics are and track them but its not the most necessary in this game, be wary of balloon boy because he will steal your batteries, and before anyone says it, ik he beat the game already, but im still gonna make this guide for anyone that might need it

@@totallyasher Np, mainly just focus on the frequency of checking vents and main hall, and try to keep the music box wound up above about a third, that way if you get caught up with an animatronic its not game over

The thing about Bonnie and really any of the "old" animatronics, is really just how fast you put the mask on once they show up. Hotkeys help A LOT.
Also the 6th nights are canon.
AND the reason your check was lower is because the 2nd game takes place BEFORE the 1st game. 2nd game takes place in 87, we aren't 100% sure when the 1st game takes place (we guess early 90's) but we know it's after 87, because "The Bite Of 87" is mentioned as a past event.
Im not sure when the games take places, but what I do know is that that doesnt make sense since there are witherwd animatronics.

So this game is a actually a prequel to fnaf 1. Yes, they mention the "new and improved" pizza place but they don't mean the fnaf 1 restaurant but previous ones. And if remember correctly the security guard you play as get transferred to day shift and is the victim of the bite of 87
Also the date on the paycheck says 1987, and phone guy mentions that here animatronics are allowed to roam during the day, but in fnaf 1 he says they used to free roam during the day

btw mike, as a person whose been in the fnaf fandom for quite some time and knows a lot about the story, only playing the game won't tell you any of the story, you have to find them yourself. Because the lore/the story or clues for the story of the game is hidden in the game, the game won't just tell you. Like for example, this is kinda a spoiler, but in room E in fnaf 1 that you just played, there is a poster. And you may not have realised this, but the things written on that poster actually changes from time to time and what's written on the poster has info on the games story, but I won't spoil what's on the poster. But if your lazy you could just look it up cause the poster is kinda hard to read. And i'm excited for what your gonna think of the other games :D

If you’re interested in the lore I suggest you go watch some channels explaining it, there’s a lot of secrets that can pop up coincidentally in the early games but it only becomes more frequent to stumble across lore in the later games.

And welcome the most....overwhelming game in the series, especially after the simple mechanics introduced in FNAF 1 and the size of the first game, also, Merry Christmas Bijuu McGee, also if you ever see this, the sixth nights are indeed canon, but the custom nights aren't, unless, it's the FNAF:UCN game, that entire game on max difficulty is canon

They are just more difficult and require so much focus
UCN is the worst.

(3 has hard mode, and nightmare mode, which can be combined, along with a good and bad ending)
(4 has the holloween version, a mode called 4/20 mode, and the night six matters)
There is a lot of stuff in these games and this is just a warning.
These games will break you.

Okay, I’m 22 minutes in, but this is really fun to watch. Can’t wait for the next one!
The third game is my favorite. It's scary but not nearly as chaotic as the second. You only have one animatronic to watch and have to perform maintenance tasks while watching out for hallucinations that interfere with your tasks
There is a piece of lore in night 6 of the first game, it's small but still significant I think. It's basically just a pink slip firing you for "tampering with animatronics" but I think it's also for "body odor" and - spoiler alert - I think that's because you're a walking corpse in the first game I'm not 100% sure but I remember hearing about it so
You become a corpse in the 5th game
The characters in this game are:
New versions of the original gang, Tou Freddy, Toy Chica, and Toy Bonnie (yes, the blue thing is indeed a new Bonnie)
The guy with the sign who says ‘hello’ is Balloon Boy
The weird thing with the white face is Mangle
And the character who appears if you don’t wind the music box is just called The Puppet

I'd say to do some small research on the characters. That way you can kind of know what you're up against, and maybe a way to survive against them.

the 6th and 7th night are important to the lore- very important in this game as well, and the shadow thing is shadow bonnie. really rare, but i dont know what his purpose is, lore wise
I’m SO glad you also struggled with esc closing the game - my default button for ‘closing menus’ in games is esc, so I’d find myself trying to esc out of the cameras and quitting mid-night. SO frustrating… I wish it were more like undertale/deltarune where you had to hold it for a few seconds to quit

The Funny Thing About Bijuu Trying To Beat Night 5 Is That The More He Tryed To Beat It Toy Bonnie Was At The Vents At The End.
On top of that the fact that it was toy bonnie that jumpscared him was so hilarious because dawko's run also got destroyed by him except it was in ucn 50/20 mode

Your playthroughs are quickly becoming some of my favorite FNAF playthroughs even though there's only two out so far.
That was sooo good! I'm still stuck on night 4 playing on my phone. I've never been able to get past it! I got up to night 7 for FNAF 1 on my phone tho which I'm pretty proud of lol
Night 6 is a easy night, it’s customizable and a big, big part of the lore.
Just to warn you, static in these games make face cams drop in quality (whatever you call it) and just to let you know that fnaf 2 is actually a prequel to fnaf 1 so the withered animatronics be remade to look like the animatronics from the first game
Is that why Freddys head looks “longer” than the one in the first game, Lol.
@@theoguncleslappy9150 yeah because the ones from this game are based off older animatronics (except the toy animatronics which are the ones on the stage) and then they finally repair them and make them look like how we see them in the first game

Nice job getting through it, this one is super tough. The third one is really fun though (in my opinion) and has lot's of awesome lore to it.
Personally i don't like fnaf 3. Fending off spring boy is just repetitive. But again it is just an opininion

The fact you did not rage quit after 5 AM on night 5 really shows you have more patience then normal people.
Most people wouldn’t quit on 5 am on night 5 unless they have 5 minutes left to play
Fnaf 2 has always been my favorite of the original 4. I still have the muscle memory to hit the mask every time I lower the cams, even if I’m not on nights with the withered animatronics, and I haven’t played for a few years.🤣
