Island Brac in Croatia...

Brac ist die größte Insel in Dalmatien mit etwa 40 km Länge und 12 km Breite. Mit einer Fläche von 395 km² ist sie die drittgrößte Insel der Adria.
In Supetar, dem größten Ort der Insel mit seinem hufeisenförmigen Strand, fahren Fähren ans kroatische Festland.
Das Postkartenmotiv ist natürlich das Goldene Horn.

In 1992 we went from Germany/Harz to Brac by ferry from Split. We had a vacation appartment in Bol by the family svitanic who made us bellpepper with meat in it. It is one of my beloved memories of my life, this holliday with my parents and grandparents in 1992, when i was 13 years old, eating white bread in the stone beach near the cistaciensa abbey. i met a dark haired girl from bol, she allways smiled at me and i didnt unterstood one word. In this year, short before the war, we were one of only two or three familys making holiday in bol. i want to come back home to bol, when i have enough money. it is my big wish and it will happen :-) I miss Bol.
