In this American Airlines First Class Flight, I share my INSANE experience flying American Airlines domestic first class on a relatively short haul first class flight on a Boeing 737-800. As an older person, I find the seat acceptable for a flight of this duration. However, as for the rest of it, it is such a shame that service levels have deteriorated to such a low level. Plastic glasses, coffee in a polystyrene cup and those 'snacks'. And no lounge access either I believe?

Nope! No lounge access for any domestic first class passengers, which is a bummer. It's only reserved for certain status members and international business class...

That’s business class. American only has first class seats on its 777-300s and its A321Transcon planes.

These aren't the same as typical international or trans continental first class products. This is "domestic" first class, a different service from both business and international first class. Most US airlines don't offer a true first class product but just domestic first and business. In this case, American Airlines "business class" is much better than domestic first. It has its own pod and lie flight seating. But you're right, it's only available on international and trans continent flights with wide bodies and some larger single aisles. Good observation!
