@@JonHop1 I never played shotbow, raidheaven was the first factions server I played back in the day and then I went to kohi map 6. I remember both of those names, him and matthewskid were attached at the hip. My ign back then was like trickshotgaming or something. RH is deep cut, I have a clip from over 9 years ago with laser and getlow and a bunch of other old RH kids raiding. Good times, didn't expect to see another oldhead

Not too hard, I'll make a tutorial for new players. You claim an area of land, setup a base, and PvP! There's other features to easily obtain resources which I'll explain in a tutorial.

The 5 day map is only for Beta. It's just to see how the server performs, the maps will be way longer once beta ends.

I quit HCF 3 years back in 2021. The OG feeling is definitely great but the problem is the pull that the game has nowadays. Only people from back in the day will know about HCF and there's not many ways to advertise it on a wider scale other than your CZcams channel which will not reach many newer players or attract players from other gamemodes since your an OG in the HCF scene. it will never be the same as the OG 1.7 HCF grind with 3-5k players online :(
I understand what you mean, we plan on marketing outside of HCF community and getting more people from Prisons, Factions, Skyblock communities. I also plan on adding another type gamemode from 1.20, which we can advertise using tiktok/shorts. I think it has potential, and it's definitely worth a try since we have basically every HCF youtuber backing this server
@@Headed Yeah man definitely, and you're right about marketing into outer sources. Making enjoyable minecraft tiktoks which showcase the gamemode in its best light could actually attract people since it has a good pull. Its whether or not they decide to indulge in it and the idea that its 1.7 might throw ppl off. However, I'd say its a much simpler version of minecraft with a bunch more to it in terms of competitiveness which people might like. Hope it goes well wishing all the best!
@@Headed Also, I know a minecraft server is 24/7 but you could advertise a ''peak time'' which you suggest to all players. Meaning that you can probably accumulate like 500+ players for a certain time period during each day. This could help the consistency of the servers player count.
You can also introduce the benefits of playing in this ''peak time'' such as a KOTH going on with a prize or an increase in the amount of loot that drops per block etc. Or come up with different innovative ideas that makes people want to play at the time.
The reason I suggest it is because that way you're at a higher player count for a good amount of time, making it better for everyone to enjoy the game more with sufficient numbers on, but also CZcamsrs can make better and easier content + tiktoks and enjoy it more.
This will be opposed to getting on and hoping people are online when you could make aware people when CZcamsrs etc will be online, they'll definitely be there!
