Tae Kennedy is a personal friend of mine, very proud of what heâs been able to do with Craigmont but everywhere heâs taught heâs created a program. His energy is very charismatic and raw! I know he recently just got married so itâs good to see him doing great things.
Iâve been a fan of Tae ever since the DICB days in Detroit, heâs done great work with Michigan Elite as well, took them down south with NO PERCUSSION SECTION and STILL brung the house down! Detroit breeds MONSTERS in the band culture! đŻ

@@iharris3466 Oh yeah bro, I was section leader in 2012 & 2013 at UAPB on trombone! We take band VERY seriously in Detroit because it's our way out the hood and can lead us towards our dreams.

I dont live in New Orleans, I live in Maryland. I'm one of the snare drummers for the band(but I was the only one when we got to parade season). Craigmont reminds me of my school. We may not be the biggest band in our county, but we have the drive and discipline. And the way how we march in our county, no one else does. Craigmont got the dub. It aint about size, its about power.

Carver's Band Director, Mr. French, wrote a high school version of Thong Song in the late 90's. Check out "G.W. Carver Band 2005".
It's the same arrangement that Karr and other schools in New Orleans plays. Miles College has the same arrangement as well.

Craigmont was impressive BECAUSE they are so small and so full. The arrangements were on point too, BUT Karr one this battle. Just cause you sound good while being small doesnât win you the battle. YOU SHOULD sound good at that size. BTW I was there. They were both good but I give it Karr.

Iâm an avid band watcher. I have to say the smaller band had very well written arrangements. Karr is clearly the better band but the smaller band put on a better show. The band director was very animated which added to the excitement. Karr simply over powered then and are the more skilled band. Smaller band played a lot of cranking songs high energy and highlighted they strength l.
