The topic of wicks confounds me.

Me too. It takes a bit to find the right match … but the good news is that many different (similar) sizes will work in a candle just fine-so no need for perfection here ✨🔥✨

Just the info I was looking for.. It's great for someone who is going to try candle making for the first time and doesn't know much about the vast variety of supplies that one can use.
Thank you for making this video :)

After trying for weeks i finally found a perfect wick for my 60/40% Beesvax/stearine taper altar candles. nr 21 its 3,0mm thick braided kind. Not fun when candle melts and drips or burns black and way to fast=)

What about premade wicks that come in a pack of 100 that have the wick and tab attached? Do you have a video on how you “wax” your cotton wicks? You really didn’t say which size wick to use for which size vessel? Maybe think from a beginner’s mind for making this video? Or demonstrating how to do it using the tools you pointed out that are needed. I’m still a little confused on the wicks. All this said with love! Thank you!

Advice please! I bought a sillicone mould that recommends a wick no 2. The mould has a release slit down one side but not in the bottom. There is a whole for the wick in the bottom but how on earth do I get the wick through that hole?? The wick end starts to fray and get fatter. What to do?

Also there is a wicking needle some people use to thread it through 😀
