El Poblado neighborhood:
El Poblado is also known as Las Manzanas de Oro (The Golden Blocks) because it is the main center of the industrial and commercial life of the second-largest economy of Colombia.
The name El Poblado (The Village) derives from the first Spanish settlement of the Aburrá Valley in 1616 that was built in what is today its main square. In 1675, the Spanish administration founded another village in El Sitio de Aná (The Aná Place), today's Berrío Square, designed to become the center of the future Medellín; instead, El Poblado itself became the main economic center during the 20th century.
Medellin Colombia:
Medellín is a Colombian district, the capital of the department of Antioquia. It is the most populous city in the department and the second most populous in the country after Bogotá. It is located in the widest part of the natural region known as Valle de Aburrá, in the central Andes mountain range. It extends along both banks of the Medellín River, which crosses it from south to north, and is the main municipality of the Valle de Aburrá Metropolitan Area.
Medellin has a population of 2,700,000 inhabitants (2021), while this figure, including the metropolitan area, amounts to 4,500,000 people (2021), which places it as the twelfth most populous metropolitan area in South America.

What happened to the stairs that were in parque illeras? Did they demolish all of those?
Yes, the work changed the distribution, they lasted a long time placing some pipes and remodeling Parque Lleras, however that work closed many businesses that could not be maintained. People went to Provenza but little by little Parque Lleras has returned.
