Provenza in Medellin Colombia:
The neighborhood became popular for several months. Everyone talks about Provenza, that street, aleph of the world where there are restaurants of all kinds -Japanese, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai, Creole food-, and those visitors know it better than any paisa born and raised in the Belén neighborhood.
The place, Generation magazine wrote a few months ago, acquired its importance before Caron G's song, but now, when millions and millions have seen Provenza's video on CZcams, and it is one of the songs of the Spanish summer, the place acquires the attributes of a fetish for visiting.
The website that made the listing describes Provenza as a thoroughfare "bordered by the leafy foliage typical of Medellin and a stone's throw from the bustling Parque Poblado and Parque Lleras, and lively enough to go from day to night.".
Provenza ranks 15th out of 33 sites.

It’s mostly sex tourism, almost 80% of the Colombian women walking around are working girls. I don’t recommend for families to walk (calle 10) this is where they hang out. Other than the prostitution on the side there are some really good restaurants in the areas otherwise and music. Just be careful.
Yes, Provenza is for families. off course there are people from Colombia but 90% of the prostitution and street sales are coming from Venezuela nowadays.
