Hey so happy I ran into this comment, I got accepted into the RT program at CNM! If you have some time would you mind elaborating on the program and the prospective job outlook/ if you are currently working anywhere in the ABQ area?

Great video I been an RRT for 7 years and good shoes are a must as well as great stethoscope cause those disposable stethoscopes they have on the hospital you can’t hear anything lol

I invested $200 into a great pair of SAS shoes. I was amazed at the difference and wear them constantly. Taking care of your feet is paramount to patient safety.

I've been watching some of your videos and they've been very helpful, thank you for taking the time to make these! I'm going to apply for my RT program this spring, and will start it next fall. Is there anything I can do beforehand to prepare me for being an RT? I currently am pursuing my pharmacy tech license, but I don't think it's for me, so I'm curious if there's anything similar to being an RT w/o the degree that can get me into the hospital setting. Thanks!

Thank you for ur videos! They’re very inspiring. I’m starting the program next June. It’s a long gap from now I just took Intro to respiratory and cardiopulmonary A&P. Question is.. what do you recommend me doing for the meantime till I wait to start the program. 😅 I don’t want to feel like unprepared.. I was thinking about reading some RT pocket guides.. but idk please help lol I just don’t want to do anything to prepare myself... if this makes any sense… Thank you so much!

I bought a fake litman on Amazon. If I were a new grad I would not have known better but having years of experience I realized right away. For patient care. Please buy a litman from a reputable source and not Amazon. It’s just not worth it and will risk patient safety if it is counterfeit!
