- These pictures are showing most of the steps during the construction of my 215HP JetJon. The boat is a Tracker Grizzly 1754 and the engine was taken from a Sea-Doo RXT 215hp supercharged.

Nice job.
I worked 25 years in the marine industry as a master marine technician and a rigger.
I'm not even into boats, and I thought this build was aces ! Gotta love a hotrod, water jets or wheels ! Well done!
I’ve had this kind of idea in my head for a long time I just haven’t had a clue on where to start. Great work on this build and from the rest of the comments I can tell you have left some inspiration. Really glad you took the time to document this process
you probably dont give a damn but does any of you know a trick to get back into an Instagram account..?
I was dumb lost the account password. I love any tips you can offer me.
@Isaias Jeremy instablaster :)
@Aydin Owen i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out now.
Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Aydin Owen It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much, you really help me out!
@Isaias Jeremy No problem xD
nice... my respect to you you are the kind of guy I would love to hang out with..building cool shit other people wish to have...
Besides having to be a speed reader, great build
green ibro . just turn down your players speed
@@edstewart6361 yea right
Sigh... I've lost my will to ever build or fab anything again. After seeing this amazing re-fab project and the fabulous results I think I'll sell my welder and tools and go live in the woods!!!
fred mertz how much for the welder then
fred mertz apoyemos a omega el fuerte🌎
such a great build. amazing workmanship and so happy you successfully completed the project to such a high level of detail. cheers and again, phenomenal build sir!
I want one!!! by far one of the best build and very cleaned as well.. going to try to build one down the road.
Best way to build one I've seen so far with using the hull out of the jet ski. A lot of these are really sketchy but you done a very nice job on the whole thing. I love it! Great work!
Ridiculously nice job!
That blew my mind. Awesome fabrication skills
Best jet Jon build I've seen. Thank you for sharing
Love the video, love the boat. I've been wanting one since I've seen them. It would be awesome to have a boat like yours, especially with the rivers in my area.
Great job on your Boat. Beautiful. Your video has really helped me get some ideas to start my project. Thank you
Quite a project. Looks great. Gotta love the smile when first drive.

I can really appreciate the time effort and work that went into this build. I would like to build a lesser version of this with smaller motor for fishing small lakes and rivers, target speed about 25 mph.
I have an idea to use a 30 to 50 hp regular boat motor but move it inboard and then use a jetski jet pump and ether lay the boat motor over or use the lower unit gear box but right under the motor to hook it all up. Jetski pumps are cheap, old boats are cheap and old 2 stroke outboards are cheap and very compact so I will see how it goes.
wow, amazing build! The turbo made me smile.
Supercharger..👍👍
I stand in awe of your fabrication skills. Well done indeed! I will say that I had a hard time reading while looking at your pictures.
That is an awesome boat...overbuilt, overpowered and looks good!
Wow, that is the coolest johnboat ever by a big measure!
Was wanting to do an antique fiberglass jet boat thought Jet jon boats were ugly until u showed me the light. Well deserved congrats
Amazing.. You sir are a genuine engineer.!.
That is the smoothed fabrication I've ever seen for one !! My friends look like priuses compared to yours. Well done.
Awesome build. I was a little slow in thinking that a jet can go anywhere and that gravel was the worst enemy but found that weeds are just as bad. The only thing is with a outboard jet the motor can be raised up and cleaned out by hand.
Excellent build and fabrication skills!
After 23 years in the marine industry Ive seen countless fishing boats / ski boats etc. But your build here has to be the most versatile Ive seen . The seadoo engine would have to be my only dislike . There are far better options as far as reliability and performance but if its what was on hand or a cheap buy more power to you. Fantastic build easily the best I have seen
please share your thoughts on other power plant options.
wow that's awesome . you're a very talented fabricator / machinist
A nice build you are a talented boat builder looks like it will take you on many adventures have fun, straight shooting and tight lines.
Well done. That's some impressive fab.
that thing moves! i bet you could go through about 6 inches of water. i can only imagine the look on people's faces when you fly past there $50,000 river jets.
very nice fab work! attention to detail is perfect!
Great job and attention to detail.
Supercharger sounds awesome!
Thats Awesome !
Excellent build
I have seen your video before , best built that's out there , smart for reinforcing the hull ! !
Sweet build and video 👍🏻
Very nice build, very good fabrication work I give it a 10.
That's got to be one of the coolest projects on YT, what a dude !!!!
Nice handcraft! Congrats handy man!
Brother you are a magician with the fabs ,truly remarkable and dawn good job I love it
Super clean build!
Beautiful build!!
Man you got some skills Sir, that was a really neat build. As a kid my dad built me 3 wheelers, go karts, motorcycles, etc.. But your skills are on another level. Very nicely done. lol I have a 1754 that is part of the reason this was really neat vid.
Wooooooow! WICKED AWESOME!!!
You gotta know you guys are creating a new Industry Standard!
Man I gotta say you put some work into that Jon boat. I really like it! I would buy one if you built one or made to sell. I'm sure a lot of folks would. The black trim on the green looks amazing. Anyway....FINE FINE work you did...Damn good!!!
Very nice work, looks great !!
Nice job dude ! ! ! ! Enjoyed your video !
pretty frickin awesome, may I ask what you have into it, parts and labor...I'm interested in building something similar...new jetboats are like 30K...Thanks and great video!
great build!
Awesome build
Awesome project man..!!
I am truly very impressed
Amazing Job Congrats!
Solid build bro 👍
Your slideshow is just as fast as your bad ass boat:)
This is amazing
awesome job
Very cool
That looks extremely time consuming but worth it!
Very impressive!
I’ve seen some really Jank builds on here you did a fantastic job it looks factory nice!
man that's a bad ass build! I would live to try to build me something similar this winter! Do you have any pointers on things you wish you would have done differently?
Great build. What thickness of aluminum did you use for the bottom
Awesome this is exactly what I want to build
Awesome job! How long did it take and what did it cost you if I may ask?
I've been wanting to do the same thing just want to make sure it's rockproof on the bottom but I can't figure out what the best option would be for that soon I have some ideas but trying to figure out which one is exactly the best
dam some skills there love it
great job! seadoo usually not play in the shallow water river but jetboat do. so in my opinion that weld 3 more bars on the intake to instead the rake
This is one of the coolest boats ever bro👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😁
Great job.
Good stuff 👍🏼
kick ass build man
Incredible!
Amazing Work, I dream of one as well.
Is it a two stroke right? I want try all fiberglass with the same idea for my next project a 20 foot sailboat. two i was thinking so you can turn on a dime with one on reverse next to each other turns tight because its bigger and more difficult to maneuver and park it with one jet alone.
I've always wanted to make one of these. Unfortunately, I suck at TIG welding
Man I wish I lived near you I have a bass pro 15ft tracker. That has a 6 to 7inch crack on the bottom right were your right foot would go.how do I fix it.
Nice! Loved thé video and even more at the end! I’m from Kapuskasing Ont.
very very very cool! thank you!
well done!
all i can say is WOW.. im so fuckin' amaze by this build...
How long is that front sheet? Did you use .125 to box the backend in to. What type of sealer is that? Looks great
Wow! Really nice fab work! That thing is bad a**
Love the build! What size boat did u use? Working on my own build!!
How is your build going? I'm picking up an 06 seadoo 155hp Friday and am wondering what size Jon I should use
Holy shit, good work 👍
First class Job , your talented to say the least . I was wondering on the choice of Port or Starboard for the helm . I know it's well thought . A chine , I'm sure has crossed your mind . Is it a little slippery ? Nice job . Next ; Rotary Motor ? BMW ? just teasing !
Awesome build!
For those whining about the slideshow speed, just slow the play speed to .25.
Any ideas how many hours you had into building it? How thin are you able to run?
Robert Ross , I should have, but didn't count my hours. It took a year, after work, here and there. It can run in 5".
Very nice!
amazing!
over the past month or so I have been looking and researching jet jons and mini jet boat builds. your build is beyond anything else on youtube for the DIYer. seeing that it has been a few years since this build have you put the boat throw any shallow water and how has the cover fiberglass held up to any hard hits?
Yes, lots of shallow water, several hits, and a couples of really hard hits. I wouldn't bet big money that the fiberglass is intact, but everything is still straight, solid and aligned...still running as it was on the first ride.
Impressive to say the least.
Could you put two of the motors for a twin engine jet propulsion in that boat
So what I want to know is will you sell it I need it for eastern mt river running love the build
Awesome build. Man what I would do for these resources
Nice boat
love the boat its the best one i have seen but just one ?all that awesome fab an design an then u went cheap ont the enging cover -back floor but what does my opinion matter its your boat an its freaking awesome
wow... Just wow... You did an amazing job. The only question I have is after doing all that work, why did you opt for wood for the back deck? Why not Aluminium? I am guessing weight? But after all that work, did it feel slightly unsatisfying adding wood to such a beautifully built project?
Thanks for the wows. I debated alum vs wood and even if alum is more durable, I went with wood for the stiffness and weight (less braces / supports), And for a quiet ride, there's less rattling with wood and the noise insulation is better. Wood is good. But I agree that a well designed, insulated aluminum deck would give a higher quality look...
Jocelyn Brochu do you install for a client? if you do I want one my numbers is 404-558-8654 please let me know sir thanks in advance
excellent!
Gr8 build bro
so how long and how much did that take to build? whats it top speed? how well does it handle choppy water.
