- Weston Anderson and his Grave Digger truck stopped by Grand Rapids this past weekend on his tour with Monster Jam. Last time I got to hang out with him, he proceeded to make me and my SCX24 comp truck look silly at his brother Ryan's house with his tiny tire SCX24 Gladiator. It was embarassing for me. Now he's here on my turf and getting too accustomed to winning as he keeps sweeping events on his Monster Jam tour. Let's see if I can show him what an L looks like again.

Hi Tony my name is Richard I have been talking with Lyle at RC athletes and he suggested that I ask you for some info that he couldn't answer I would like to know your opinion about putting Furitek or hobbywing and various other trucks that are considered toys but are upgradable. I am speaking about WPL crawlers I watched a fella on CZcams put one in from an SCX24 vehicle and it worked I am not a mechanic by no means so I struggle with trying to fix my own broken trucks I have seen both es c's installed into scx24 trucks and they perform much better. will they make my trucks perform in the same manner? I would appreciate any info you could give me.thank you

Hi Richard,
The Furitek escs could be put in and help a little with the stock motors, but it would take some work to mount their motor. We use them all the time in our SCX24s. They have mounts to work with the transmissions. If you did get a Furitek system in, you’d want to upgrade the driveline to handle the extra torque
And yes, I live in Michigan. I was born on the east side and now live on the west side of the state.
