Welcome back to the channel everybody! Hope you all are having a wonderful day! Todays video features an installation of Grom Audio's VLine VL2 Carplay system on my 2009 CTS-V. This car being my daily driver, weather permitting, I hated using the aux cord to play music. Now we can throw that cord out the window and instead have wireless carplay or android auto. does the reverse camera and microphone work? i have nav tools and it wont use the mic and you have to exit it for the reverse camera but it just died so i may want to replace it with this.
I don’t have a reverse camera on mine but the system does accept it. There’s an option for reverse camera so it could work. The microphone does work as well
Do you still keep your bose speakers?
Yes of course. Does not effect that
Does it condense with the screen when you put the screen down?
No. As long as u route it and secure somewhere not in the way, it won’t
@@LuaysGarage nah you misunderstood, I meant when you press the button to raise and lower the screen, does the picture on the screen change with it?
@@Inilitus oh oh gotcha. Honestly I don’t know I haven’t tried. I always keep my screen up. I will try and reply back with the results
No it doesn’t. Carplay stays the same when screen goes down and doesn’t minimize
@@LuaysGarage that’s a shame, one of my favorite little details in the CTS was always how you had two screen modes. Hope they add it as a feature sometime

Yes if you have the same setup I do
