I’m a 32 year old male recovering opiate addict, checked into rehab January 1st 2021 and have been clean since. I found your videos a couple not weeks ago and have bin watched every one of your videos and LOVE your content, if you made a podcast I would download it ASAP! I check every day for new content. as someone who's never been to prison but was a VERY STRANGE kid.... ass whoopings are nothing. i've been swarmed, 1v1, earned what i got, and been stomped for happening to be there when some dude went off and needed somebody to hit. the last guy who tried me lost, and i warned him "you wouldn't be the first person to kick my ass, nor will you be the first to THINK they were going to kick my ass".

Your stories are amazing & I have a shit ton of respect for you & what you’ve achieved in just a few years. Thank you for all of it. 13 years ago I was a meth addict with a shitty attitude & short sheet of petty (really fucking stupid) crimes & a couple of felonies. I WAS eventually going to end up in prison. BUT I ended up finding an old friend that I’d lost contact with, with some help from her, some serious reevaluating my life I got clean, got sober & we got married 10 years ago. She saved me from prison, winding up dead from an OD or in a shallow hole in a corn field. Now we own a small farm & I haven’t had so much as a speeding ticket in 12 years.

As a former CO in Kansas lot of the shit he talks about happens even in my little backwards ass state lol I was attacked in RHU (segregation) by a pissed off inmate behind a steel door while I was trying to cuff him up to take him to the showers he kept trying talk through the little window and me being partially deaf I didn't really hear anything this guy was trying to say but being a rookie at the time I made the mistake of squatting down to try to hear him better when he shot his left arm out the food port (bean hole) and cut/stabbed me on the left side of my throat so close to my jugular that the nursing staff at the facility as well as the ER both told me I'm lucky to be alive, little more pressure and I could've been drowning in a pool of my own blood or dead they said because I flinched when his hand came out of the bean hole I would've been dead but I tell ya one thing straight up right now I had the respect of every inmate and officer in the facility I worked at when I came back to work with a fresh scar on the side of throat no bandage covering/hiding it all this shit happened on my Friday was told by EAI (Enforcement Apprehension Investigators) or as I like to call them the prison internal affairs met me at the ER and basically told me I had to choices since it was my Friday even though all this happened on a Monday (I had Tuesday and Wednesday off) it was Friday for me and I was told I could go back to work but it wouldn't be in RHU it would be in gen pop or I could go home I chose to go back to work but they over ruled my low level ass and told me that I had to go back to facility fill out the incident report and narrative then turn my gear in, which I didn't have any cuz my ass knew they weren't gonna let me come back that day so I turned my gear in when I left to go to the ER after I did an the paper work and crap EAI sent me home so I clocked out hoped in my ol truck and I drove from Hutchinson Kansas to Salina Kansas which is about an hour drive North, I'm not even gonna lie I didn't have the gas to make all the way from Hutchinson to Salina but I somehow made it course honestly I think it was the adrenaline that took over when everything finally sank in but anyways after my weekend I came back to work, much to everyone's surprise and everyone kept checking up on me like hey bud you good you okay and I'm like I'm good but while your up here take this guy to RHU he keeps running round my cell house and ain't wanting to listen get him out

Worst part about prison(at least for people like me with ADHD) is the booorrrrreedom! Missing family sucks, not being there to raise my kids sucked, no spicy-time with the ladies sucked... but the boredom was like torture on top of it all. Aaaarrrggghhhh!
One thing I would like to see you do a video on is the mental game of it trying to keep yourself together mentally well you're locked up. Also be cool to see you do one about the boys and the guys you knew that you never thought would go after the boys! That always amazed me I did a year in PA and then 6 months

I had to do two bids before it finally clicked. The first was four and a half years. I was 21 when I went in. I never went above a level 3, and my family held me down to.the fullest. The second was 8 years and change and the last three were on max and supermax( Red Onion State Prison, there are plenty of videos about it) but that was enough to show me the changes I needed to make. Thanks again bro for everything you do for our community. Keep fighting the good fight

I'm glad that you popped up in my recommendations. I did a few years in Arizona and just about everything you talk about is the same exact way here. I don't know if you have personal stores there but I'm sure you have seen some things go down when someone racks up a bill and can't pay. I was on the phone one time and dude started getting stuck in the neck and the person on the other line could here it happening. I couldn't draw attention to what was going on so I just stayed on the phone until to c.os finally seen what was going on. The dude getting stuck was then dragged to the sidewalk and stomped on until the c.os finally stopped it. Dude didn't make out because he couldn't pay his dope debt. Crazy experience.

I was at Dozier when i was a kid, so i got a ton of stories too... lucky for me, i avoided big prison mostly...i was at an intake center for a while at Lake Butler, but i never hit adult gen pop. You remind me of so many people i used to know. Stay positive bud!

I appreciate you learning irish history bro. I was in maghaberry prison in Northern Ireland got out September’23. Got out and relapsed, depression beat me then I got the spark I used to get in jail to absolutely have the best craic and push myself to get up and out. The only thing worse than being imprisoned against your will is doing it to yourself. I’m learning that. 30 years old now, I want to do better. All that time in jail really stripped any allure to the dark side bar the drugs. Got one more charge for what I was breached bail for so hopefully

Honestly man at 16 I went to juvie I was in for a year and half I learned when I was in there that a lot of kids just needed a role model and when I got out I told myself I am never going back and been clean since doing my best to build myself and I'll admit I'm failing at that but I am still trying
I know, right ! I've got a young man who could use a little chat. Not a son, but like a son. Lived with us for almost 10 yrs. He's lost in mental illness from street drugs, homeless and completely psychotic. Can't get him to stay in rehab longer than 3 days. And rehabs's and hospitals are free here . They won't lock him up in jail, cause he's psychotic. Hospital's won't hold him. So sad. 💜🇨🇦🙏

Great content. Question to you and others. How important was mail call to you? I had a loved one in prison and made sure they got a letter from home almost everyday. When I was in the military, letters were a huge morale boost. Was it the same in prison when you got a letter from home or friends?
I became brutally honest when I started my recovery in 2016 and I get a lot of respect for that but I also get hate cause of it. I can’t and won’t change that about me cause it keeps me grounded.
You give a lot of positive energy ..You should go speak at high schools and save some of our children 👍🏻

I was at Dozier when i was a kid, so i got a ton of stories too... lucky for me, i avoided big prison mostly...i was at an intake center for a while at Lake Butler, but i never hit adult gen pop.

I appreciate you learning irish history bro. I was in maghaberry prison in Northern Ireland got out September’23. Got out and relapsed, depression beat me then I got the spark I used to get in jail to absolutely have the best craic and push myself to get up and out. The only thing worse than being imprisoned against your will is doing it to yourself. I’m learning that. 30 years old now, I want to do better. All that time in jail really stripped any allure to the dark side bar the drugs. Got one more charge for what I was breached bail for so hopefully

Honestly man at 16 I went to juvie I was in for a year and half I learned when I was in there that a lot of kids just needed a role model and when I got out I told myself I am never going back and been clean since doing my best to build myself and I'll admit I'm failing at that but I am still trying

I've got a young man who could use a little chat.
Not a son, but like a son. Lived with us for almost 10 yrs. He's lost in mental illness from street drugs, homeless and completely psychotic. Can't get him to stay in rehab longer than 3 days. And rehabs's and hospitals are free here .
They won't lock him up in jail, cause he's psychotic. Hospital's won't hold him.
So sad.

Great content. Question to you and others. How important was mail call to you? I had a loved one in prison and made sure they got a letter from home almost everyday. When I was in the military, letters were a huge morale boost. Was it the same in prison when you got a letter from home or friends?
