- Hey Everyone! In today's video, we'll be using up those scraps that we never know what to do with by creating some quilt cards! I'm sharing a bunch of examples of finished cards as well as a step-by-step process of putting one together. Give this "scrap buster" a try and create some beautiful cards!

Great card ideas. I love the idea of using the patterns for your scrap placement. I’ve always done it randomly but this gives so many more possibilities. I really like the extra step of embossing the panel. Patti

I really liked all your “quilted” cards but I wished I’d started making them long ago. I certainly have a big enough stash of scraps. I’m sure the Anna Griffin ones will come together beautifully, just like yours. While it seems like such a small thing, no pun intended, that teeny tiny pink bow you placed on that button on your “hi” card was completely adorable. Completely! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Chica! Schwoo Girl, it took me nearly 2 hours just to do the voice over & about an hour to write the script!! I mess up way to much if I just try to “wing it”. Pookie, now you know I'm going to try this. Your cards are so beautiful. I've never tried the quilted technique and I like that you didn't even use a die. I like at the end where you showed your finished cards you added touch of the velum and you stamped and heat embossed your sentiment greeting. The simple touch of the gems and the buttons with the twine brought it all together. Like I always say, you're a beast at the table. One that I truly admire.

I really like these cards. I started quilting with fabric recently And I've done a few cards myself. Not as intricate as hese, but you're right, they do look like they would go together quickly.

Great cards. I love the embossing of the cards. I like to die cut small squares or triangles out of my scraps. I then use them like teabag tiles.

I love quilted cards. Your choice if paper made these cards just perfect.
Great video. I've recently seen how to make a 4" 1/4" square into an A2 size card. Just cut a 5 1/2". X. 4 3/16" of card stock and it can be glued inside the square card. Works great.

Thank you for this inspiration. Even though I probably won't get chance to use all my craft items in this lifetime I still get a Thrill when I can use Scraps, I don't like waste. At least my unused items can be passed on to someone with little income 😊

I use my strips similarly too but somehow yours is more elegant . Probably because it’s not sloppy and the paper is lively and delicate . I’m going to actually try to be more precise next time I do this , and be more creative with the patterns

@@MimiJocelynDesigns I totally get that :) I used to use Magnolia stamps for many years & still have lots of their paper leftover that I haven't even used yet. The paper is so pretty therefore, I guess I'm waiting for the perfect project for them. I'm creating interactive cards throughout the month of June for my YT channel so maybe I can incorporate those papers into those projects :)
