After reading the comments I found a answer. Thank you so much for this. I didnt have a back up so i installed a custom rom for my Note 5 (Venom Rom for those in the same) . After flashed thought TWRP it loaded up but took some time. Now gonna unroot and make a back up of everything.

You could have also used Samsung Kies (for older models) or Smart Switch for newer models to flash factory software.

when you try to reset the phone through twrp or any custom recovery do not wipe system if you do the phone will brick and stuck at logo if you want to fix this you can use a backup you created earlier using the custom recovery (stock recovery cannot create backup)(if you backed up the system to internal/external do not wipe it) or you must download stock rom for your device as zip and place it in sd card and you can install it through recovery or you can use pc for flashing stock rom.

If TWRP says "cannot restore -- mounted read only" go to "mount" and uncheck "mount system partiotion read-only"

hello friend I have a problem with team win recovery protect 3.0.2-0 I got in wipe and delete my files intensionally and then went into reboot and in each of the four options and told me not installed are you sure you wish to reboot and then the phone restarted and stayed paralyzed and then sent me again to recovery and put another wipe and deleted the files thinking that he was going to restore. and I followed your process of the video and nothing says to me, you are not installed, you are sure to wish to reboot
Hi Brian, I have the exact problem happen to mine but I don't have any backup available. Meaning I never did a backup of the OS. Now, I am trying to download a working firmware to reinstall. I went to SAMMobile site and they have the firmware available, but it's only available to premium users. Do you know of any firmware I can use to flash my phone that I can download freely.? Mine phone is a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

Hi, If you have similiar problem with you samsung phone and you did not any backup - use samsung Kies. You will need exact model of phone and S/N. With that, you can use system update option from tools section
Hi MarianH - My Galaxy S2 is wiped completely - It had Cyanogenmod on I wiped/formatted it completely. So if I press down the 3 buttons it goes to recovery mode (and it has CWM-based Recovery v6.0.1.5 on) but I cannot get it into download mode and I do not have any backup of the phone whatsoever. Hi, I have the same problem, but i don't have the backup, what can i do?..
To all those who have the same problem.. my samsung s3 mini had the same problem.. the problem happened when i tried to flash lineage os and then i tried flashing it with resurrection remix. i got into recovery mode and accidently deleted os, cleared cache and advanced reset. after that when i tried to reboot , it got bootlopped in teamwin logo...also i couldnt get into recovery mode .. only accessible thong was download mode... i searched online and tried various method and nothing seems to work...
solution:
i downloaded the original stock rom of my phone and flashed it with odin. when it rebooted the teamwin logo was gone, but then it started getting bootlooped in samsung animation logo. then i switch off the phone and was able to get into recovery mode. there i did clear cache partition and factory reset and rebooted the system.. finally it rebooted and escaped from bootloop.

I have a similar problem with my samsung phone,
I tried flashing twrp on my samsung j7 nxt ( non rooted ) with odin
And when i check it didn't show twrp and was on samsung original recovery.
So i did it multiple time and at last try i , jumped direct to recovery mode from download mode via pressing buttons on restarting phone.
I got on twrp but i wiped system os i think,
Tried flashing original firmware with odin, it gets stuck on AP file and stops at Boot.img,

Hey, i accidently deleted my os, before using twrp i made a copy of all of my files from my phone and pasted them inot a folder on my pc, which folder is the stock os? when i try to copy and paste all of these files back onto my phone it says it will take 3 hours, id rather just paste the stock os onto my phone again so i can use it and see if it works, then add my music and media etc.
edit: you cant have a microsd card on note 5 so how would i transfer my files and use the backup to use my phone again since it doesnt allow you to restore internal storage
can you tell me how to do that?
or do you know where else i can get a back up of my device because i did have backup on my device
+Neil Kapadia If you own a Samsung device it can be EASILY fixed as long as you have these 2 things:
1) A PC
2) Unlimited internet/data
I wiped my s3 mini and I didn't create a backup so I installed the official OS and it 100% works. The only difference is my boot screen.
If you haven't resolved your problem I can help as long as it is a Samsung

I open Recovery to install the original Firmware from asus.com can't install it it says

if u can go into the twrp then it is easy u just have to install stock rom or any other custom rom available for ur device.
U can google custom rom ur phone model model and download the zip file and flash it through twrp.
My Samsung got black screen and can't do anything, I don't hace access to anything, either to FWRP, the screen is just black, but the USB is recognized in my laptop, any idea? :(

As long as u got backup of OS, u can fix it. But if u don't get any backup of OS, u cannot bring it by restoring. U ve to flash it again
