  • Sepp Kuss Might Become Jumbo-Visma's BIGGEST PROBLEM
    Sepp Kuss has just won the last Grand Tour on the calendar, and while he always claimed not to be a rider who would hunt jerseys and always rather plays the role of a domestique, a special someone in his life might have changed that mindset forever. Recently, Sepp Kuss admitted that he wants another shot at Grand Tour leadership. But what exactly caused his mindset to switch, and would his team really give him the chance?

    he is more an alternative solution than a problem since the team is now without Roglic and has only one pure GC. He has to share his part of burden with Jonas. They need each other in Tour-Vuelta combo. It is a good time for the team to promote a third potential gc such as Attila or Tratnik maybe. They have also demonstrated very good performance and consistency as super domestiques.

    Sepp will do what the team wants him to do. Sepp is a great rider but Jonas is the team leader and the strongest G.T. rider if something happens to Jonas in a G.T. then Sepp could fill in. But Sepp will be Sepp and work for Jonas. But I think Sepp should be able to go for more stage wins instead of being held back to help the team leader.

    He already was the 2nd GC option for Jumbo in this year's TdF, and I think will be next year again, with probably more emphasis on staying close to top 5 while doing so. It'll be interesting to see if he's designated leader in the Giro, with Primoz gone, and assuming Jonas won't be in it.

    Problem and problem. He hopefully still realises that can't beat the top top GC riders head to head. He can beat the secondary GC guys. And that he could go for some smaller stage races and maybe a Giro, that Pogacar isn't starting.

  • @Michiel1972
    @Michiel1972 Před 7 měsíci +1

    Ofcourse he won't be a problem. Sepp Kuss knows he got a little lucky also with his escape on one of the stages. Roglic and Vinegaard granted him the victory for all his efforts in the past. If Roglic and Vinegaard would have gone full throttle the following days to win the Vuelta Kuss wouldn't have been the winner. This was a team spirit thing. Sepp is realistic enough to know he is not at the same level as Pogačar, Vinegaard and Roglic.

Im Danish 🇩🇰 and are rooting for Seppie and Jonas to win 1-2 in TDF 2024 they work so well together, and have a super motorbike 😂 in Wout Van Aert….but to be honest, I really really hope that Primoz will finally win TDF 24 ( I wish he had not left to Bora 😰 ) in some ways its his time to shine.
