Arsenal 2-1 Leicester 2003-04 (The Invincibles)

  • They said it could not be done. But Arsenal just needed to avoid defeat against Leicester on the final day of the 2003-04 season to remain undefeated for the whole league campaign - a feat not achieved in the English top flight since Preston in 1888-89. Alan Parry and Brian Marwood were in the commentary box.

I love how Henry pulls the one sensible defender forward for the second goal. He's see the run and the pass coming but his center back partner was caught ball watching or simply unable to comprehend/cope with the late midfield runner. A perfect move, really nicely done.
