Building inputs, outputs, outcomes, program logic models (outcomes models)

  • Structured program logics (as opposed to freeform) are structured into horizontal or vertical layers such as inputs, outputs, intermediate outcomes and final outcomes. Such models can be laid out to in either left-to-right models, or bottom-to-top models.

    This is very familiar to a 'breakdown structure' which is common in project management. We'd call this a 'program breakdown structure', but crossed with a 'function deployment chart'. So, it's quite a complex chart expressed very clearly.
