Having a contingency plan against every member of the JLA in case any of them goes rogue is smart. But even well thought out plans can go horribly wrong.

it's in the name. Fenrir is a mythological Wolf that could kill even gods. Despite that, gods managed to stop it. Plan Fenrir is a plan to bring down the gods, that can be stopped by the gods. Basically a double failsafe in case someone steals it

Bruce bantering it up with Alfred is the single most disturbing thing in comics.
I thought that was a refreshing moment. We've seen Bruce just be endlessly stoic and brooding with Alfred for years but this guy raised him lol. And if we even go back as recent as the animated series Bruce occasionally would act like a human being around his family.

People always complain about Bruce having contingencies but if the Justice League fell Bruce is the one thing standing between them and the rest of humanity. Also it's not always thier Justice League, It could be an alternitvie Earths version like Earth-3.
For me, it's not that he has contingencies. You make pretty solid cases for why he would and should do it. It's that more often than not it's portrayed with utter disrespect for the people he has contingencies for. Batman's supposed to be essentially a good guy, and some of the Justice League are his comrades and friends. Or, at least, Jonn, Clark, and Wally are. You would think his plans would involve some, or even multiple, methods of restraint or mediation before straight up going for the kill. In some storylines they even involve torture in some way, something Batman would otherwise never condone. At least in this storyline, his methods display tact. It didn't work out, but that has less to do with the plans and more because this League got Laughs-ified, something his plans didn't account for *for some reason*.
Don't get me wrong, I like Batman. I loved Batman as a kid, the Tim Burton movie was the first movie I ever watched in theaters. But I like Batman to have some sort of heroism and hope, instead of the writers pointing at The Dark Knight Returns Batman and going "Yeah, uhhhhh, can I have that in extra large??" Stuff like that is why I don't even read comics anymore.

Superman can move so quickly that the radiation emitting from kryptonite shouldn't be able to hit him.
But such is the problem with ridiculously overpowered and gimmicky characters like Superman who can effectively do anything, the writer needs to limit them, otherwise they solve every problem instantly and without effort. It's why it's honestly better to not have those characters unless every other important character in your story has similar abilities.

@@AveSicarius it’s less about that but more about making compelling stories about the character, like all star superman. Him being super strong and fast isn’t really the plot, it’s how he wants to do his all for the people around him in his last moments.

At this point we're going to have to admit that Bruce Wayne/Batman is far more resilient than a normal human : When Wonder Woman smashes your face hard through a concrete floor ( or some hard material ) and you're not even stunned and all you have is a little nose bleed then there's something superhuman about you...
It might have been possible with his mask/ helmet on because it gives him protection but anybody who gets their face trashed through the floor like that by someone with immense strength would likely die instantly...And it doesn't look like she was holding back...
Also...Can someone please explain why Wonder Woman "kills" Batman in his armor and then we see Batman again fighting the Flash, Aquaman and Superman ??

My personal theory is that after centuries of evolving alongside superheroes and supervillains (no way they appeared only in the 20th century) the average DC human is more resilient than the average real life person.
re: the wonder woman thing, Batman hit her with what was essentially a Lasso of Lies, so the whole bit was her hallucinating her killing him.
