I still find it hilariously awesome that Sir Pentious is voiced by Alex Brightman, who also voices Adam. Dude has range, since let’s not forget he also plays Fizzaroli from Helluva Boss.

4:54 The reaction cuts away from it, but I love that Valentino has been throwing sh*t around his office this whole time, but when he says "He MOVED!" He actually grabs VOX's phone and chucks it against the wall. I didn't catch it until a couple of rewatches, but it cracked me up so much when I noticed it.
Also, listen carefully and you'll hear Valentino squeak when he's mad. This is because he's a moth demon, and some moths will actually squeak when he's upset.

Alastors transformation at the end of the first song is even more terrifying when you consider the fact that Alastor could've announced his return at any time. He CHOSE to wait until someone said something about him and Vox happened to be the one to broadcast his presence to everyone so the cat was already out of the bag. But he didn't respond to save face, he only responded because he thought it was going to be a good time and nothing more. He could've just destroyed Vox's tech the way he does cameras mid broadcast but he decided to troll instead and make Vox do it himself just to remind him he's Alastors toy just like everyone else down there.
Huh, that's actually a good catch. I always assumed the video thing was a passive skill, but if it's an active one that actually makes a few things much more interesting.

To be honest if definitely not definitive is looking at this comment I’m not trying to be rude but I don’t like when you cut the scene a little bit
During Alastors song when he says “tune on in” that was a threat to Vox. He use to take overlords (like Vox) captive and then rip their souls apart broadcasting their screams on his radio station. Basically telling people to tune in in because he plans to go back to doing that again.

The moment when Angel and Vaggie were on the exact same page. “Can’t we just kill him? Shoot him and spill his blood?” A beautiful vengeful friendship I’m sure.

Angel and Vaggie are there to make sure anyone who spits on her kindness receive due consequences.
What I like most about Alastor is that he feels like a good and fresh Comic Book villain, and I missed that a lot

@@reverance_pavane No, see, he's petty, but he's fun about it. That's the difference. Comic writers have gotten too caught up in the act of showing how petty a villain is when in reality they should be thinking about how to make that villain's brand of pettiness feel unique to them.
This is one of those rare shows where I'm pretty invested in every character. But Alastor is without a doubt my favorite part of every episode.
Yeah he’s super interesting. From the design to voice to backstory. Everything about him is fantastic 🤩
Most shows have 1 or 2 main characters that are everybody’s favorite, 2 or 3 other main characters that ppl like but aren’t obsessed with, the side characters who have a handful of fans, and the rest of the characters nobody pays attention to or ppl actively DISlike.
But these types of shows, where EVERY main character is everyone’s favorite and there is no character that you can’t find fanart/fics/videos/etc about (even villains who are very hate-able and side characters who only have like 5 lines in total) always seem to be the best shows.
I’ve only seen the pilot and episode 2 but so far every character seems interesting enough that they could have their OWN whole show and it would work

What Charlie does is more like babysitting then therapy..which is what all the Hotel members need.. but she also need this not just because she is kind by nature.. it makes her whole and we all need that in our lives.

I actually really like Velvette, she has a great character design and voice. Also she is one of the very few that changes her appearance (clothes and hair style) thru the series.

Two things you'll notice as you watch:
- Charlie, while she truly does want to help people, doesn't really understand human nature and what makes people be cruel. She only really understands the surface level "good people trust each other, and are always kind" trope, which means she doesn't know how to address deeper trauma. You'll see this again later in the series.
- No one really knows what makes people "good" or "bad." I won't spoil anything, but the concept of sin in hell apparently isn't universal.

"I dont hate Vox or Valentino...." Seeing as you are multiple weeks ahead on Patreon and have watched Episode 4 by now I am certain that has changed very drasticly, espacially towards Valentino... I am quite certain that even if Charlies Idea ends up beeing Highly succesfull (Who knows how it turns out when all is said and done) Hell will never be empty because of people like him. Just sad that he is someone in power and therefore not suffering as far as we know.
Yeah some people can’t be redeemed and he is for sure one of them. 😒
I can say that it was very chilly to witness Alastor’s full Demon form being so scary that it might make you shaken 😰but it surely shows the level of an overlord at its finest. Also for the song between two powerful medias of Radio v TV is chemistry of enemies having with each other. 😄 With all that said, keep an eye out for “Drones” after this episode as it clearly be a miss detail that people might miss during watching onwards in this series.

Yeah Vivziepop mention that in a Q&A Livestream. For her version and idea she will need 3 seasons..so i think at least 16 more episodes to come..but Season 2 is now in recording so. the earliest release date i could imagine is like October or maybe January 2025

Alastor is definiately the best character of the show...but then there is Charlie as well. I love her. So cute, so relatable, because she is being looked down on, and ostracized for being the only one who is actually good, who actually wants to see the good in people, want to trust them, give them chance to be good. She is the freaking Princess of Hell, people should respect her "by default", instead even a reporter at the News thinks she can fight with her. Sadly a thing IRL, if you are good, caring, forgiving, you are ostracized and "your kidness is taken for weakness", even tho that is what this world would desperately need. More goodness, more good people.
Well said. Kindness is definitely not weakness it’s strength because it’s easy to be a nasty person, a selfish person, etc. it takes strength to be good even when others don’t appreciate it or take advantage of it. 🤗😊
