  • Here's a new version of my original piece, Die Reise der Örmimi, played on a beautiful Steinway B grand piano.
This is an outtake of the recordings for my upcoming debut LP. If you want to peek behind the scenes during the process, check out my Making of Experience:

Lovely stuff Marius... that mix of modern classical and improv is always intoxicating to me... was trying to predict where you would resolve and you took me to different places.

Nice :-) Makes me think that maybe I should record some the 'musical clock' pieces I wrote for my kids.

Very nice! I've listened to your other post of this song so many times it's nice to hear the differences in this performance. That piano does have a very nice sounds to it. But I do see what you mean with too much reverb coming from that room. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for listening to both versions! What you hear in this recording is actually an artificial reverb I mixed in. I would've liked to mic the piano a little differently and use the natural reverb, but that really doesn't sound good in this room - you should hear the camera audio! ;-)

      @@mariusleicht I think he meant "improv"(ization).

Yes, three years ago I meant improv as is improvisation. This was stellar… so was it a straight improvisation? No improvement needed 😊
