hello sol and luna, i confuse reality with dreams lately but i hope i am recalling this memory right.
You have this video (forgot what was the title) when you said you watched Vince and Kath and James.
Given that Paubaya MV of Moira dela Torre is out since two days ago, I hope you could react to it (subs is up) because it's really heartbreaking. There were speculations that JoshLia's throwing of dialogues on the middle part of the MV was not scripted but their real closure. The person who acted as the priest commented on the vid, saying that all of them were advised to leave the setting when Josh and Julia were about to start the heartbreaking scene. Moira, Joshua, Julia, cameraman and the director were the only ones inside the church then, there were no script given and JoshLia was given the chance to voice out what they want to. I am not a fan of them but I cried watching that scene. Now, I became one of those who wish they could be together again. I love their Vince and Kath and James movie and it just saddens me how they started really cute, from friends to real couple (even starred at Moira's Torete MV years ago) but ended breaking up and having their closure on Moira's (again) Paubaya MV. I guess there were really lot who relate to the message of the song. Love you Minyeo ♥

im Glad that you mention that chicas, mostly filipino dont like Dances or Costume related to Spain they feel that its a colonial mentality but i dont think its Spanish yes for Asian its a bit western but if you compare it to the Original Spain Mexico Argentina its completely different, this is reallynour identity you cannot see this in any latin american countries although they might be a lil simmilarities were still asian with a touch of Latin
Okay. These dances are still very Filipino though. Its the cultural mix which represent The Philippines.. made it their own. The same happaned with Latin America who was colonised by Spain and made their own mix. This is OUR FILIPINO VERSION ♥️✌🏼.
@@Ama94947 the dress is very asia pacific islander the piña cloth and the fan very chinese, salakot, tablas, and the traje is very filipino with a touch of chinese and hispanised, us that we retained our ancestor tongue doesnt make us a better nation compared to usa and australia canada who lose their own ancestor language, and us that has a mixture of west and doesnt make us a lesser asian our culture is fusion or hybrid, when spanish country see our culture and tradition
The 'modern" Philippine culture is a mix of East and West. The Philippines exist as a country because of the Spanish, before it where different kinda states/empires. So I would consider the tribal dances and culture as Pre-Hispanic, and yes I know its a complicated history with many countries who took over and spread their influences,
We are not 'less Asian" The Philippines was and is still located in Asia right? But the truth is that we where a long time kinda seperated from our neighbour countries in our mainstream culture, but some tribes still survived. Thats different with the rest of Asia who influenced eachother..
I believe that we can embrace that mix we are now as Filipinos. I am proud with our connections with Asia/ Latin America, Spain and the USA. Time to move on! ♥️🤙🏼
