2:37 That was a horrible accident 304 people died due to the negligence of the country and the ferry company. The crew left the students on the ship and told them to stay in their cabins. It was not a peaceful rescue as it seems to be in this video. It left people distressed and in pain. The survivors were mostly rescued by fisherman and other boats, the coast guard arrived about 40 minutes later.
2:37 is the MV Sewol, over three hundred people died in that incident, most of them schoolkids who were told to stay where they were. It took the coast guard nearly an hour to reach the ferry, which was over its rated capacity. The whole thing was a mess of incompetence and corruption.
2:37 I think that’s the MV Sewol. While the actions of fishermen on scene were admirable, the crew of the ship and the coast guard failed their duty to the people of that ship. Hundreds of high school students died due to their negligence. Brick Immortars videos about it would give a great understanding for anyone interested in how poorly it was handled.
2:35 would have??? Bro most of the passengers died in the boat and the ones who was in control of the boat ditched them all in there, rip to all those poor kids
The car that went off into the river, that’s the perfect example of knowing what to do to get out safely. Either get the door open immediately if possible or if not able to get into the back seat and try that door. If too hard stay calm and wait for the car to settle and then open the door. Thank you mythbusters for that knowledge. 😅
The guy who saved the 5 kids from the burning house wasn't delivering pizza (occupationmight be a deliverydriver), the way he ended up there is. he and his girlfriend was in argument he left the house distressed and sad, turned down the wrong street and found the buring house with children screaming, he jumped out the 2nd floor window with the final kid and broke his arm and leg and a few ribs, dude is a great man
Man, with all the bad that is going on, right now, I literally cried through most of this video! I needed to see it today! Thank you to all our heroes!
I love these videos that show the true kindness that still remains in some humans. It restores a little bit of my faith in the human race that seems to be degenerating more and more every day.
OFFS, get details correct, wasn't firefighters pulling people off building, it was nearby construction workers and their crane operator. Same old recycled videos, sped up and BS voice-overs.
True hero’s don’t look for recognition. It’s just who they they are. First responders are a perfect example of that. They definitely don’t do it for the money. It’s just a calling.
0:32 I know somebody who saw that happening in person the taxi driver who takes me on the commute every day was doing a job and saw it happening it is in Reading, England it was not the fire brigade doing that but a builder as the building was still under construction and the person trapped on the roof is a workman the person operating the crane (which is attached to the roof of the burning building) decided he needed to save people his name is Glen Edwards and he was rewarded for his actions that day
1:00 I feel horrible for how scared she was… though I can’t help but wonder if that guy was a threat or not. I’m sure an argument can be made for him being drunk but-… I feel strongly that he was actually mentally challenged. And I worry for him too. (Just based on how he walked, how he carried himself, how he used his hands, how he talked… and for the record: I’ve seen many drunks, creeps as well as special needs people, so i can usually tell one from the other.) Kinda breaks my heart to think that there are likely hundreds of guys that might be like him. Viewed as a bad and dangerous person, no friends… no help…
Ummmmmmm… there’s a good chance that kangaroo at the end was waiting in the water because he wanted to lure something in to the water to drown it. They do that in nature. They are savages!
Ive seen the tractor cutting the path in front of that fire so it couldnt spread. Just a guy with a tractor probably saving peoples homes, i know it was a huge fire. Some of these animals though just getting in weird situations... like who knows how to preform CPR on an elephant? Apparently someone does.
I’ve only seen the aftermath of a cycle school I learned about cycling Tracy but I don’t know what it actually looks like in person one a cyclone is happening but at 4:13
Im sorry 😂, but 304 high schoolers died on the korean ferry which sank. They were told to stay put by the captain who then left the ship. It was a sad day for all and maybe there were some heroic acts but still so many lives lost.😢
@@GalinaEv they did keep any eye out, they watched the whole thing, I’d guess the general consensus is the adult would demand help if needed but the kid with the phone never tore his eyes away from the screen. "Not all heroes wear capes'' is always said when comparing fictional heroes to real life examples, but it's a stupid phrase, because most fictional heroes don't wear capes either.
Well, I hope everyone of those firefighters was off duty because otherwise, we were paying them in tax dollars to go to this little boys birthday party. Great use of funds.
Have some Nasty, gossipy neighbors up here. P**ses them off terrible when I stop to help folks on the road. Nothing better to diminish gossip, than kindness to strangers. Course, I've had My share of those stop to help me also. Goes around, Comes around.
I dislike the vid 'cause the narrator is downplaying the fact that there's lives at stake, passing it off casually. And the background music isn't helping, not to mention the scripted narration
@@Akimbo-Hello. Please remove or edit the Jewol Ferry incident in Korea that you have included here. It is around the 2 minute mark. Minute 2:37 to be exact. This incident was a MASSIVE tragedy where the captain and the crew as well as the government, the coast guards and rescue operators have COMPLETELY abandoned the victims and left almost 400 innocent people to die as they watched the Ferry sink with them still inside as they tried to escape, but couldn't. Most of these victims were high school children. The boats you were showing in the clip were actually civillain fisher boats that had come to the rescue of those few that have survived and it was civilian volunteer divers that has recovered the bodies of those that had passed away. This tragedy has traumatised the entire nation and left a massive impact on Korea with a big memorial event held for each anniversary every year and the grief never faded with large protests and movements taking place every year as well, especially after the Halloween stampede in Itaewon and several other horrifying incidents happened as well, all related to the government, faulty construction works, lack of emergency services, lack of human empathy, selfishness and greed. This is nothing against you, of course. You couldn't have known, but this incident was anything but peaceful or heroic and was nothing but an incredibly cruel and horrifying event that could've been prevented so many different times.
Just thought I’d throw a little fact in there at 10:29 these guys are the RNLI which is the volunteer lifeguards for the uk so these guys are doing this by their own will they don’t get paid for it, much respect for them 🤍🩵

Yeah, and the captain was one of the first to evacuate. Cowardice at its most despicable
This is the exact comment i was looking for. I also confused at first whether that is the same incident

thats true

Firefighters always seem like the NICEST people! ❤
Facts ima be one when I grow up too
Well their job requires them to put themselves in harms way every day, so arseholes need not apply!
so true ❤😊
Fun fact: everyone in this video are heros and you can't say otherwise
2:37 This is the MV Sewol, many students died, please do your reasearch. This was an increbibly sad case of gross negligence
Yes, and like the owner of the channel should be aware about that know. But no re edit..
7:39 Their friend is just dying in front of them while they’re all just on their phones
that man saving that girl is brave, she could have been a feminist and sued him for not believing she's a strong independent woman

No capes, so these heroes come from the incredibles.
Those teens took the initiative to clear a path for the delivery robot, displaying consideration for the technology that serves their community.
The firefighters' skill and determination was vital in extracting that trapped stray dog from the confined space, giving it a second chance.

Good on all the MEN who make a difference like this.
The river helicopter rescue was clearly a manakin. So a training exercise. Great job though.
Nice video

Interesting choice of thumbnail.
The crane operator rescued the worker from the roof
That kangaroo was trying to drown either those people or something else. Thats why they hang out in water sometimes.
I am shocked that a 6yr old child has absolutely no road sense at all….also why was he allowed to just walk out of school with nobody noticing 😩😩
