    and also the 2nd best town to live in the whole of state of NJ .
    Ridgewood is located in between Routh 17 and Route 206 with easy access to NYC.
    Ridgewood is fairly a big town with 25,000 residences.
    Because of its size there are 7 deferent neighborhoods in Ridgewood, it does not matter what is your preferences you will find a neighborhood that will fit you.
    Town Type:
    For many people Ridgewood is a unique blend of city and the suburb Where the downtown hustle and bustle of local restaurants and businesses in the village square, seamlessly blends into the way of life of its bucolic residential neighborhoods and homes.
    Home Style Type:
    When it comes to homes styles, Ridgewood has many historic properties still standing today.
    In Ridgewood you can find variety styles of homes :
    Victorian homes built on the late 1900’s, cape cods homes, Tudors homes and new construction homes.
    Commute :
    Ridgewood is located about 20 miles away from NYC and is known for being one of the best commuter towns to NYC in Bergen county.
    There is train to the NYC form the Ridgewood train station you can ride to Secaucus Junction and switch there to one of the other train lines that will lead you to the city or ride all the way to Hoboken and take the path to midtown Manhattan.
    If you commute by car, it should take you around 45 Minutes depends on the time of the day.

    Graydon Park- located between Linwood and
    North Maple Avenues, you can find there swimming pool that you can swim there during the summer .
    The park also has baseball fields and soccer fields, this is a great time to spend with the family specially during the spring and summer time.
    Another great park is Citizens Park - located right by the George Washington middle school, its great park with soccer fields in baseball fields.
    Another great park is the Ridgewood Duck Pond and that located by Ridgewood Ave & Pershing Ave.
    This park is part of the Saddle River County Park system.
    In this park you can seat on a bench by the pond, you can go for a walk or run on large paved path that goes all the way to Saddle River and there is also a great dog park there.
    Downtown area and Food Scene:
    The main downtown of Ridgewood is called the village square with everything you can ask for,

    Many of Bergen County residence are comes over to Ridgewood to enjoy a day or night out.

    There are no big buck stores in Ridgewood, however there plenty of them in just a short ride of less than 15 minutes.

    America Dream Mall, Riverside mall, Garden State Plaza mall and the Paramus outlet.
