Welll maya and josh were actually not a great couple but maya and Lucas were a great couple they were so close friends and when maya was about to kiss him he smiled not in the campfire but at the ski lodge when they were telling the stories

Tf are you on about? Firstly, they end up together, so idk what you mean by RIP Riley’s heart. And secondly, think about how both Maya and Riley lived their lives. Riley was the one who had the ‘perfect’ life where everything worked out for her. She has loving parents, the handsome boy, and the life that everyone wants. But Maya was the one who sacrificed so much of her life for Riley. She had a father who walked out, she had an almost kiss that must’ve broke her heart since Lucas didn’t do it, and overall she lived a life where she focused more on Riley than herself. Maya and Lucas should’ve ended up together because they have more chemistry since they are so different. And even then, why can’t Maya have something that Riley doesn’t? Riley has everything and once Maya starts to get something that Riley doesn’t have, she becomes selfish since she wants it too but doesn’t acknowledge her best friend.
