- Replacement for year model 1998-2002 Honda Accord 4 cycle transmission solenoid replacements. All 3 solenoids! If your Honda is shifting hard, this is a must watch. Also, drain transmission fluid and replace with 3 fresh quarts.

The screens are in those tubes that you pull out. Also, Honda’s are unique in that you check fluid with engine off.
Good to know because I was use to ford's and you have to check them while running and warm I do believe.
Thank you very much! The video is very helpful.
I have the same issue mostly when it’s cold with the delayed shift from 1st to 2nd. It’s more bothersome than problematic but Thanks for the Video. I hope to address this issue one day.
Thanks for sharing
The dual linear one is solenoid A the smaller one with the 2 screens is the Torque converter solenoid the smaller ones around the starter are shift B and C.
Which one could cause delayed shifting from 1st-2nd
@@illjam9695x2. I’d like to know if you know as well. Thanks in advance
Did you ever replace the solenoids?!
The screens are in the bottom of 3 of the 4 tubes sticking out from the engine side you better clean those then jump 12 volts to either side of connections and watch the piston for movement not just a click
I really want to know if it worked my car has the exact issue and that’s the only issue someone please let me know
I had a 2006 Acura TL it was doing the same i has no codes turned out to be the transmission filter
Where was the filter?
I got a 1998 Honda Accord v4 no misfires runs smooth , lately I’ve noticed after I’ve ran it up to normal temperature driving it I hear a hissing sound coming from the engine not loud but I can tell difference in sound I’m down in Texas we’re it’s hot , everything is good no overheating it doesn’t affect performance ,all fluids okay you know what would cause this .Thanks
Sounds like a vacuum leak from somewhere
Never heard of a V4 configuration in Honda Accords.
Did it work??
Where did you get the sunroof for Rudolf ? Have a link or name or model number ?
I ordered it from alibaba
Thanks
Did the shifting stop wen you clean them
It was better
Under the battery that solenoid you didn't take out the screens. It's 3 round ports those o rings going on. You can take them out and spray them as well and you would see a big difference
@@unpro_proautobrokeraye bro my shi makes a loud ass sound when i come to a stop and then does weird shit in first but it’s only first gear you think it something internal or the jawn in the video please help
Always make sure a Hondas tranny has genuine Honda AT Fluid especially the later models u can't use nothing but Honda AT FLUID!! That may be your problem start simple
My D4 light is flashing on my Accord would this fix that?
Mine didn’t do that.
Tcu or ecu, I am sure you fixed it by now. Also the speed gage is off or barely working. Tcu is on the backside of the engine kinda hard to get to but possible to do yourself
Did buying the new solenoids fix the issue ?
Yes
How did the Dual linear solenoid work from Amazon?
It didn’t work
@@unpro_proautobroker damn I bought a lock up solenoid same thing didn't work. That sucks they need to stop selling car parts. Thank You for responding Bro!
Did you have a 706 code if so it could be a sensor on transmission at bottom
No codes was present
@@unpro_proautobroker oh ok 👍
Did you sell the car ?
