Hi
I was obsessed with this City when I was in middle school. Watch every doctomety on CZcams, and did Evey project that I could on it.
I'm 67 and never heard of it till about maybe 5 yrs ago. I love it!
I was obsessed with this city to and that progressed into visiting and learning as much about volcanoes as possible
you even drew it?
Best tip - go to Pompeii in November - its the least busiest time (but not as sunny) :)
I went on June last year, it was like hell ! So hot ! And naples even more ! ☀️☀️☀️☀️😬
That's not what he meant 😂
I'm half Italian, and shame on me I've never been to Pompeii. You're actually showing me what I've never seen before (and with amazing footage!).
Hope you enjoyed Italy!
" But if you close your eyes "
Im sure bastile went to pompeii

Yes, and the fire, and the black smoke, and the poisonous air after the disaster.
How amazing this city was, i can still see the beauty, thanks for the beautiful vd.
You guys should go and visit Positano as well you are already close, it’s beautiful🇮🇹😊
He already visited Positano, he has some Positano episodes
Great job on this video! Naples and the surrounding area is by far my favourite destination that I've ever traveled to! It's so unique, the food is incredible, so much history, and there are so many places to explore!!
I lived just north of Naples for 2 years. Miss it like crazy!
Hey brother love seeing your success! Everyone can be successful like LeBlanc. You have to follow your passions and chase your dreams. Let’s continue to inspire the world to travel!
living my passion every day thanks to Christian!
nice videos
Well said!
Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to explore Pompeii and see the ruins. Last summer I got the amazing chance of climbing to see the volcano and finally seeing Pompeii! It was absolutely beautiful!
I was there in 2011 and they told me they calculated that the Vesuvius would exlopode in the next 6 years. It's been 8 years now, so I'm not going back any time soon 😂
Seems volcanoes are waking up all around the world. I'm in WA state and they are all up and down the west coast. Then there's Yellowstone too!
it's expected to erupt by end of the century, over 1 million people might die within 3-5 min
I was there last month and saw now activity at all , except the light smoke from down the crater. I think what you have heard was the joke.
vladimir vlad it’s not a joke. This volcano is more dangerous the longer it is dormant and builds up pressure of time so it could quite easily erupt tomorrow because you won’t know it is happening until tomorrow
Is it still active?
Always wanted to visit! Thank you for showing this historical place.
It is just crazy to think that a city like this was buried alive for that amount of time. I really can’t wrap my head around it 😂 So many undiscovered treasures could be right below us 🤷♂️
Honestly, with how little we explored the ocean, there's 100% some lost cities and species yet to be discovered.
I am just back from Sorrento-Napels-Amalfi Coast-Capri. Had a very good vacai
Great video mate, I'm lucky enough to have visited there a few years ago. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

That’s awesome. Not awesome for the Pompeii people but for us
Guys I want to say that Neaples is incredibly beautiful.
You must know that this city was born with the legend of Ulisse. The part of the sirens. The famous story that tell of how Ulisse didn't fall in their trap.
So this city was born as "Partenope" more than 2000 thousands years ago, and it was founded by Greeks. Then it was destroyed and re-built as Neaples (Neapolis in Latin, that means "New City") in 475 B.C.
This city had many populations that brought an unique identity to the place.
I invite you to go to this city and see how beautiful is with the streets, the churches, the buildings and of course... the food.
I'm traveling in Italy, too.
It's a really interesting place. I really wanted to go.😍

Pompeii.
A long time ago the volcanic eruption was unhappy to the Pompeii people.
However, to that end, I think it is ironic that the ancient Roman city has been almost completely preserved.
Thank you for the vivid video.
Whoever reading this. Always remember you are beautiful and your so worth it. Keep smiling 😀

nice :)
I love traveling the WORLD
I thought those who died were killed by either building collapse or the pyroclastic flows that followed the volcano's column collapse. Were there any lava flows? I've always understood there were none.
You're right, people mostly died because of the heat from the gas. So it was an instant death, just like from an atomic bomb.
You should check out some Serie A football matches, it's like being in a modern Colosseum
I was here! So epic to see you guys in the EXACT places I've been this summer!
Pompei is truly an amazing place full of history. I can only imagine what it is to be there.
Oh public restrooms are always a lottery... you never know when you gonna get lucky 😂
Thanks for sharing all this images and history notes.
Yay drone shots from the volcano !!!
Great video guys thanks for sharing. Hopefully the Pie yous ate? Was a nice Margarita pizza. . My late Grandmother's family on my late dads side was from Napoli Italy. This had to be an awesome trip. Great footage 💯🕊️ very, very interesting.
It's like watching the discovery channel itself but Lost LeBlanc style. Great video.
I'm Italian, I have to reveal a trick, the more you go down to the south and the more the food becomes good
Buen apetito
Pompeii is soooo amazing! Hope I can visit soon! ♥️
I can't imagine what they wen't through i saw an animation video that talked about it in detail and it was terrifying
Amazing video though the usual top quality video
There is many documentari in Italian language that explain this
Definitely on my bucket list!
👌🏼
Wow so interesting 😮
Crazy hey!
Any travellers visiting Pompeii should also visit Herculaneum. It's much smaller than Pompeii but different because Herculaneum has preserved skeletons of people who were hiding in barrel caves near the water. It's a really creepy scene to see! It's between Pompeii and Naples and easily accessible from the train. We recommend it!
I was in Pompeii last may, perfect! But try to arrive early, a lot of places to see...
Awesome vlog once again chris.keep it up!
Thank you
“When that guy blew his top. Not the tourist, the volcano”
I’m just imagining a tourist back there going “ RAHHHHH IVE HAD IT!”
Watch out on the streets of Naples where you park your car! We just came back from Naples and we were parking the car outside on a public street overnight and once we came back all the tires where gone and the side passenger window was broken.
Your here ! sir woooow
That’s amazing
There was no lava flow from this volcano. Lava is slow moving and they would have survived by getting out of its way. There were several pyroclastic flows which dumped tons of ash on the buildings collapsing them. This came at them at 150 miles an hour and they had no time to escape. It was 79 AD and they had no idea what was happening. There would have been many earthquakes preceding the eruption. The reason the ruins are in such good condition is because there was no lava.
"Death has no remorse upon whom it devours in its wake."
Best of luck to both of you
Waiting for Capri and Amalfi coast videos
Ercolano is another place distrusted by the volcano of Naples, it is worth seeing too
I have a question that I wanted to ask since a really long time. You said in that video for example that you wouldn’t live close to a volcano, but you are living in Bali where there is a possibility of earthquakes every day. Are you never scared about that? Did you had already one/some?
LeBlanc, awesome video. I am a professional Face reader, and I can't help by notice your ears. I cannot imagine how unusual your life is. You ain't the type that would do anything predictable.
I subscribed because of this vlog😀 Pink Floyd’s music video filmed In that stadium is magical. 44,000 antiquities from that region was exported to the Getty Villa near me in Malibu California for public viewing, great job!😀✌🏼
that was a really good video. thanks for posting.
Very nice video.
God bless borth of you
And the best best pizza in Naples is at Gino Sorbillo. That's the best pizza in Naples.
It's true , Pink Floyd recorded an album in Pompei , you can see it on youtube --> Pink Floyd live in Pompeii , it's one of my favorite ;) , and nice video , thank you
hey!, careful with that axe, eugene.
It's actually one of their best known and popular recorded concerts.
