Episode 12 of BUILT NOT BOUGHT
In this episode of Built Not Bought I finish of pulling apart the 6L L98 motor and get it shipped off to the Machine Shop to begin rebuilding the internals. Looks like at this stage the pistons, rods, cam and all rocker gear is going to be upgraded and the whole rotating assembly balanced.
To finish off I explain the plan for the canopy build going on the back. The base of the frame is welded up - so keep an eye out for upcoming episodes to see it get completed!

My Story
For the past few years I have become more and more obsessed with travelling this great country in a 4WD. Just getting from point A to point B with the maximum amount of fun and excitement it what it’s all about for me.
My first 4WD was a Nissan Patrol and I have had one ever since, this build is my take on what would make the ultimate touring vehicle to do what I love most.
I hope to one day build myself a 4WD empire to make the unreachable, reachable to others. By providing them with a means of transport like no other, transport that is BUILT NOT BOUGHT…

I am no keyboard warrior. but when i watch a video labelled how to built a canopy, i expect the video to be about building canopy regardless of the quality of the video. Clearly this guy has not got a clue on how to build one. Demonstrated in the scene where he suggests a magnetic square on alloy! and obviously, I am not the only person to think this, just read some of the comments.
