In Vera Pauw's final interview before leaving the Ireland management team, she said a major source of tension was the team's desire to change parts of their training routine. She said if she were to do that, it would result in injuries. Under Gleeson in the last week, there've been three injuries, including an ACL.

The Irish ladies team are over rated and totally unprepared. Wales could have beaten them by a couple more goals. A little less McCabe might improve the overall performance of the TEAM.

cant really take the Irish woman's team seriously. i mean they sacked their winning manager and then had the audacity to say that they would be better without her. no disrespect to the current manager but you cant expect to continue winning when you remove one of the key formula's for success. if you change a number in a formula you get a different result, its as simple as that. would like to be proven wrong in the fullness of time, say 2 years.
