People really hear what they want. You don't just up & open a gym. This clearly could have been something that has been in the works for a long time especially with finding the right space & location. We will never know what happens when the camera aren't rolling. The ending statement is valid enough & you also have to consider what she has accomplished. It's not that much more for her to do at this point in her career so why not...... Unless you've been there to hear those conversations & reasons you really have no idea

I used to game professionally, it helps you remain confident. If you can rationalize the loss and go into a match or a fight with the mentality that you're better, you will fight less worried, less hesitant, you won't be as fidgety, and you won't overthink stuff. All because in your head you know that you're going to destroy them. Theres been times where I've respected opponents in games and it made me not play like myself. She also doesn't really seem to be blaming the loss on anyone else, just stated she wanted more attention during training and went the route she wanted towards that.

Nobody knows what goes on behind the scenes. This loss might have been accumulation of issues and her loss was the straw that broke the camel back. She has her own gym now, her own coaches that work with her, have ample time to rewatch the fight and prepare for this rematch. It's time to show up and show everyone why she is the greatest female fighter in the world. What I don't want to hear is excuses after the fight if she loses. But I think she would remind everyone while she is the greatest female fighter. AndNew.

1) ATT wasn't responsible for Amanda losing the belt, her ego took a big hit and she projected that failure onto the gym, even though she was the one in the cage.
2) Kayla Harrison being a strong personality and successful in the women's featherweight weight class meant that Amanda was no longer 'the' top dog at ATT. That unsettled her and she ended up leaving.
