Glad it’s finally arrived. The reflections off the bonnet looked superb so the wrap has worked out well in the end.

Uniden R3 is the way to go. Programmable frequency lock out to eliminate false signals! Look into ALP laser jammer as well. Up here on Long Island, Nassau County is replacing all radar with laser. Detectors are useless.....

Matt, I was wondering where you were going to just drive the darn thing!? I enjoyed every moment of this video. From previous videos of you driving the F80 M3 and GT3, I am starting to recognized some of those roads. Btw, awesome 1st launch! This time it didn't bog down like your 1st couple attempts in your GT3.

I recently bought the Uniden R3 and it's really great. This weekend it even picked up a speed trap where the cop was aiming KA band forward and he was behind a small barrier blocking his side. It's also extremely quiet!

I'm not sure yet. I think I kind of give off a vibe of unapproachable. Michele has been driving my old Raptor and has gotten 6 compliment. I never got a single one.

Based on your driving I think you’ll enjoy any 90s or early 00s NSX. If you do decide to sell the S2K CR look into the NSX your channel will grow I’m sure of it.

Beautiful car, and it's such a small thing though the seats with the lettering and the yellow seatbelt really does it for me.

Glad to finally see some GT3 RS videos. In both my PDK vehicles, I can engage launch control in auto mode. I notice you were using the paddles. Is the RS more like a Lambo in Corsa mode? Meaning you have to use the paddles? The PDK is so fast in full auto, I don't know how you could shift any faster especially if you are in launch mode.
Regular auto in the GT3 is basically worthless. And PDK Sport is odd as well. I only drive in manual mode.

Car sounds great! Question about the seats: I'm trying to decide between buckets and 4-ways in a new GT3. It will be mostly a street car. If I get buckets, I'll get that kit that angles them back a bit more for comfort. But other than that, are they too hard for street driving or long road trips? I don't mean for daily driving. But for weekends 2-hour drives.
The angle and comfort are not the issue. I think they are perfect and could sit in them for hours and hours. The issue is getting in and out of them. You'll find yourself hating that part. The thing that bothers me is how much I'm beating them up crawling in and out.
Well I have sat in a few GT3s. I don't have any problem getting in/out, but I find the seat to be too upright. They do make a kit that reclines the seat a bit more, which everyone seems to love. I'm more worried about the buckets vs 4-way in terms of long drives. The buckets jut look really cool. I'd rather get them, but at the same time I don't want to get a car like this and then dread driving it because of the seats.
really amazing....but...I learnt a massive lesson on my own back...manual gearbox is the only way...no matter time lap or easyness usage...what is matter is to feel everything....

Car is incredible, but the roads impress me more. Coming from the UK where there is traffic CONSTANTLY, it's amazing to see such incredible roads like this, empty, at 5pm!

I don't think so. I'll hopefully be trading this RS for the 991.2, so I don't want the hassle.

But, the yellow seat belt makes you look like a “Crossing Guard”.
I think new seat belts in order.
Maybe 4 point or 5 point if seats set up for it.

Edutige ETM-008 plugged directly into the GoPro and clipped to the seatbelt.

Yes, new engines have a completely new oiling systems. These should be bulletproof.
Roads are really smooth there
Now that you have the car back, how do you like the Suntek CIR?
It seems pretty good.
How do you like the Suntek film compared to let's say Xpel Ultimate?
Suntek has much less orange peel and is clearer looking.

Amazing car, great channel. Regarding yr back. I used to hurt like you because I was not educated by anyone that lifting weights is not the best thing. I would not have been able to enjoy any of my cars because of my back. If u want to work out then use your body weight only! The best app for it is Runtastic! U will feel amazing, u will be in better shape and yr back will not hurt.

991.1 GT3 has the old steering wheel, no matter what year. Only the 991.1 GT3 RS got the new wheel which is now standard in the 991.2 GT3 and option in the Carreras.
I’m pretty certain I know what part of town that is. My parents moved to the villages a few years back and gave us the grand tour lol

How do you like the brakes compared to your GT350?
The GT350 initial bite and pedal feel are absolutely fantastic.
Are the LWB's better than the 997.2 LWB's? Sit more back, not so upright?
I can't fit in the the GT2 previous gen seats. They are too narrow.
The plastic louvers are because if it was carbon it would be harder to form and make the whole panel out of carbon because of the geometry of the louvers and when rocks come flying out it wont be a big deal cuz its not an aesthetic piece.
They are simply fastened to the fenders.

Jusr wondering, as for driving experience, how does it compare to gt350?
The GT350 holds it own, but feels like a tank in comparison. The weight out front on the GT350 makes it feel like freight train when you jump out of a 911 into the it. But I still think the brakes are better on the GT350. The pedal feel and bite are better.
Thx for ur reply lol. Nice comparison here. I currently have gt350 and drove my friend's 458 Itlia. And I also love gt3 911.2. I wondered if I shall sell gt350 and save up for either of those two cars. I personnaly love the feel of the light chassis and the rotation on those cars. However, the driving sensation on the gt350 feels really good to me. So I am not sure if I should continue modding the gt350 to make it handle better (weight saving) or just sell it. It is a tough decision to make :(
