      steep turn is possible for the swallows because of their wing design. But I've never seen the design for flight backwards (not turning, I mean literally flying backwards from the ground). Is there any bird species whose wings are designed for backward flight.

    Remain a loyal subscriber and I will explain this. In Peru we took the LC320S out on a boat to a special log that our guide, Gerson knew about. When we got to the log, there were dozens of bats. We focused the camera, then tapped the log, resulting in all the bats flying off all at once. The exact reason we spent the morning doing this was to compare bat flight to bird flight.

    Nice video and observations. I hadn't seen the "low pressure" indications of the upper feathers like that before.
    ...
    Where the arguments and misconceptions start is when you ask what actually causes the low pressure over the top. Once you learn that, it's really elegant how all the natural phenomena/laws fit so nicely together

    increasing the density of the air by humidifying it a bit more we can fly as well, using just our arms and hands it's easy to imitate the movements of a bird and experience how our body reacts on certain movements.
    It's generally known as swimming.

      you could swim the same way birds could fly, however the fish's way of swimming is much more efficient. water and air both flow the same and are both considered fluids so it makes sense that a bird flapping motion at least could be used underwater as the generation of lift is unessecary

      Ravius Boi It would be an option of air flight once advanced robotics can achieve similar degree of flexibility and functionality as a bird with its wings. Considering all the differing things birds can and have to do to fly in varying situations, A bird's wing would render helicopters, VTOLs, and some high speed aircraft obsolete within a generation.

    Science without perception of its Creator only leaves you with just Wow and How??
    And when it is complimented with what the Creator says about it like below::
    The Holy Quran, Chap Mulk(67), v 19 " Have they not looked to the birds above them spreading their wings, and (at times) they fold (them) in? No one holds them up except the Rahman (the All-Merciful Allah). Surely He is watchful of every thing. "
    Doesn't it clears your wonders ?
    I would seem fit to put another verse from the Holy Quran here,

      arnt batstrand To make that statement you would have to be all-knowing. It doesn't take much to realize that. You can state you you don't "think" he exists, but without all knowledge, you can't make that absolute statement.

    • @tomjscott
      @tomjscott Před 9 lety +8

      ***** Sure I can. When you look at a painting, how do you know there was a painter? Because the painting is 100% absolute evidence that there was a painter. When you look at a building, how do you know there was a builder? The building is 100% absolute proof there is a builder. Same with creation. How do we know there was a creator? The creation is 100% evidence of there being a creator. And the Bible tells us who that creator is: God. It's really rather simple. And we have a scientific law that says life only comes from life. A scientific law is better than a theory even. So, since life cannot come from non-life, then life must have been created. The only reason anyone denies it is because they don't want to be held accountable for their sinful lifestyles.

    • @imthetank3
      @imthetank3 Před 9 lety +3

      Tommy Scott so many fallacies, its hard to pick 1. Ok so first, "scientific law says life only comes from life", what created the first living being [in your opinion, God]? I bet you can't answer that question without destroying the "law" you just stated. Second, you are narrow minded for only including objects with an obvious creator. What created the earth, or any other planet/star, object in the universe? I can bet it wasn't done by a living thing, but instead by forces. Prove me wrong.

    • @tomjscott
      @tomjscott Před 9 lety +2

      imthetank3 OK, so let's take your futile rebuttal one by one. 1. You failed to disprove the law of biogenesis. In fact, all you did was try to turn the question back on me.You must disprove that law to continue. But just to show how silly your attempt was, I'll even answer. Yes, God created us and since God is life the law is still upheld. So, now you need to disprove that law to even have a starting point.
      2. I'm narrow minded to only include objects with an obvious creator? Too funny. All of creation has an "obvious" creator. That's the point. DNA, mathematics, symbiosis, metamorphosis, etc. It's just so blatantly obvious. Why don't you explain metamorphosis in an evolutionary paradigm?
