You know... it was only a few days ago I told my mom that I think Daniel had ADHD. I try not to assume, but after the SOS video, the bagpipes, and some of the most recent videos like the one about being really good at things but too lazy/unmotivated to take advantage of it, I couldn't help but get lowkey excited. It's nice to have it confirmed (assuming he hasn't mentioned it before--I might have missed that).

I think adhders have like a sixth sense for finding other adhders. Since my diagnosis I've been slowly learning that all of the creators I follow on youtube have adhd, and each time it's just like "ah, yes, that's why they're so relatable" 😅

@@nickorange4881It could have enhanced it to give him an edge over others though, taken his talent from 'another good one' to 'something extra/better'. People are lead to only see the negatives of adhd, autism, etc by the medical classification for 'diagnosing' it, but they all come with unique positives too. Others have given examples of the adhd positives already, so for autistic people I will point out the ability to 'hyperfocus' and have far more intense interests (which can overlap with adhd, etc). Any neurotypical can be good at something they like, have a talent for, but compare them to an autistic person who has deep-dove into that same topic and they may never be able to match it in their lifetime.
Neurodivergent people like these will have difficulties in a neurotypical society, from the troughs in their more spiky skill sets, but it's often forgotten that those troughs are between more significant spikes that can often far exceed the peaks of neurotypicals in those fields, for example, Einstein is believed to have fitted the currently developing profile (as more becomes understood about it) of an autistic person, a spike in skill that changed the course of physics and more besides, although the strengths aren't limited to STEM subjects as previously believed, as Sir Anthony Hopkins is evidence of.

As someone who celebrated Sukkot recently I can tell you that's 100% accurate!
(Although if you actually want to know a bit more- it's pronounced "sue-coat" and basically all we practically do is make a hut with 3 and a half walls with leaves for the roof and we eat dinner and it and some people stargaze through the night! I wasn't expecting to see it here hahaha)

The group I celebrate with takes a less literal interpretation of it, and takes the concept of temporary dwellings to be the intention of the scriptures, and we usually travel to a large gathering with hundreds of people who rent an entire towns worth of hotel rooms for a week, have daily services, with an additional service on the sabbaths of the week. It's the best week of the year.
If we are stingy on pronounciations, its more like "sue-kot" but yeah its preety much like that. Its preety lame on paper but seeing family and a brake from school/work is nice :)

This was actually pretty cool to watch. My club leader in poetry club said you can create anything from anything and this is pretty much the physical representation of that. Key idea for aspiring content creators: Just play this reminds me of in your head. It's silly and fun and it pushes you to think outside the box with creativity. Personally I will use this video for reference if I ever need to think of something new and I'm stuck. I will try to think more like this for future vids as I am experimenting rn and working on my editing skills currently with an anime vid(redoing it cuz I messed up :( ).
