This is a REMINDER to all of us canoe expedition types…….ALWAYS wear your life jacket!! We’ve all been comfortable in situations and then SHTF. RIP and condolences.

@@Lisanoencasa absolutely but being around any large rapids is a potentially dangerous thing and being experienced they should have known better. I feel for them and their families but it is still an area where help isn’t close

@@arthurbrumagem3844you understand this waterfall is right next to a portage which means you have to use every strength you got to get out of there when you put your canoe in the water if you are not strong enough you will be sucked out
