@TrainProductions The 400m IS a sprint. It's not like it's an 800m race. It is a sprint like the 100m and 200m. Wayde had to do speed training with Bolt and Blake in Jamaica before he broke the 400m record. Speed is the key to all the sprints and Tebogo (and Lyles) has that. This is why Tebogo can run 44 secs in the 400m, and why a 200m Jamaican sprinter was able to step up to the 400m and win the World Championships, and why Noah has offered to run the 4x400m this year as well because he has the speed reserve to do it. The faster your top speed, the easier it is to run below your top speed for an extended period of time.
well he cant win the 100 or 200 due (mainly) to Lyles, and the 300m isnt an official distance, so that leaves the 400m and hes got no times that rank in that. He's just outside the very top in all distances. Give him time and he 'could' take Lyle's place, but thats a big if.
I think focusing on the 100m will greatly improve top speed for his 200m as he seems like he has natural strength insurance at the 300m. I see him with potential to claim a 200m world record along side his 300m world record. 400m is totally a different beast.
