    Biggest financial mistake I ever made was with my 401k. My company had a Roth 401k when my kids were in college, but I didn't actually start contributing until year 3 of the 6 years I had kids in college. Because I was helping them with expenses, I was entitled to the tax credits, so my effective tax rate was extremely low. That is the time you NEED to be in a roth! i still retired with about $360k in my 401k.

      Most people don't understand the power of compound interest or are just impatient. However, I think it's better for the average person to invest in the S&P 500 and wait, which is reliable, albeit extremely long: many years, or just hire an investment advisor and accelerate wealth accumulation. Most people underestimate the power of the latter.

That lesson was: for every huge, frivoluos purchase you make, you need to have an investment double it's worth, this doesn't necessarily mean you should always invest when you make a purchase, it simply means living within your means. Varied sources of income is wise and especially like i said, living within your means. Whenever you're about to make a huge, dumb purchase that doesn't add value think about taxes and how you get your income. Life is weird, beautiful experience when you step back and look at it. Grateful to be here with you all, working with a financial advisor could truly set you up in life. I’m delighted to contact a financial coach Rodger Michael Karl, earlier this year because while others were busy whining about the downturn I was busy cashing out from my investment, finally making over 7 figured for the first quarter of the year.

      @FaithAndrada-xo9ou Před 3 měsíci

      Agreed, the role of advisors can only be overlooked, but not denied. I remember in early 2020, during covid-outbreak, my portfolio worth around 300k took a slight fall, apparently due to the pandemic crash, at once I consulted an advisor in order to avoid panic-selling. As of today, my account has yielded big fat yields, and leverages on 7-figure, only cos I delegate my excesses right.

    I really wish I wasn't joking but I was diagnosed with ADD back in the late 90s. I remember at one point during my life I was standing right next to the wall and I was facing two different rooms side-by-side. I'm the left was a room that had a couch and a TV while the other room literally was full of books and one chair. I firmly believe to this day that if I had shows the room with all the books I would have been a completely different person today, but unfortunately I chose to choose the room that only had a couch and a TV. I hope you all know where I'm going with this! If I had shows the room that was full of books I would have been educated and insanely smart as well as fit and healthy. Unfortunately now I am morbidly obese and stupid, not to degrade myself, but because of my mental disorders life is very difficult for me. Please learn from me and educate yourself.

    I wish i learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix-- Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life-changing information that could have great effect on their finances. I played with the stock market sometime in 2020, and I was surprised at how well it turned out. I want to put in $90k more into the market. I heard people are making really great returns despite the downturn. Any recommendations?

    ✌🏻😌Great video. We are all seeking financial independence and a better way of life. This is not difficult to achieve with savvy investing, a frugal lifestyle, and cautious budgeting. I'm glad I learned early on to work hard for financial independence. As Warren Buffet said, he has seen this happen many times in his life. Not an investor, my wife and I never earned more than a middle-class salary. We plan to get retired at 58 with a stock portfolio worth $1.7M. We have never sold so much as one share of stock...
