A video that is short and to the point with clear audio. Love it. I'll be checking out the link. Thanks
Appreciate you watching! 👊
Great video Jim! That's a nice pin for your hitch, I remember it on your old ride. Keep up the great tips and advice buddy! 👍
Appreciate the continued support brother! 👊💪
THANK YOU! Made my towing a teardrop sooooo much better.
My pleasure! 👊
Hey, great video, but you are missing some information here, although the pin looks like it works in a limited sense. This pin will not work on solid shafts, as you can't install it on them. In addition, is a bit misleading when you use a combination hitch (adjustable) to make the rattling scenario, which will always have rattle and play at the adjustment pins, as your only eliminating 1 pin from having play. In which case a U-bolt could do the same to just isolate the shaft at a fraction of the cost. FYI I came across your video looking to eliminate rattle on the adjustable drop ball side..
This does not completely eliminate the hitch rattle. This stops left and right movement, but does not stop up and down movement when a trailer is attached.
Ok... Lol
Nice video Jim just ordered one today👍
Appreciate you watching buddy! 👊
Nice video!
This works great for side to side rattle but for up and down rattle, a u-bolt would be needed.
For your assembly instructions, the lock washer goes against the head of the bolt and flat washer against the receiver... Still a good video though champ ;-)
I have zero rattles with this lock. Also the lock washer is against the head...I just moved the second (flat washer) up when I said it which made you think it was the lock washer. Appreciate you watching! 👊
Really slick product!
For sure! 👊💪
Very cool. Makes it extra safe to.
Appreciate you watching Will!
This is exactly what I need! My B&W drives me nuts rattling on my 2500 and the throat is too short to use one of those anti-rattle plates. Thanks
Appreciate you watching! 👊
I got the notification 😃 great video didnt know about these
Thank you brother! 👊💪
Perfectly fine for people that leave their hitch on all the time. For me it's too time consuming to use as I never leave my hitch attached when not in use.
Those are nice hitch pins. I put a clamp type anti rattle device on mine years ago. Never noticed the rattle much until I started hauling my boat around with my Jeep. I guess the noise transfers a little better on a suv compared to a pick up. any way, I would have jumped on that pin setup had I known about it. Thanks for the video
No problem Jeff and I appreciate you watching buddy! 👊💪
Pretty sweet. Didn't know they made these. Nice that even if they break it off they need a wrench to remove it. I had a tri ball stainless hitch stolen with a reese locking pin.
It's a shame that we even have to worry about them getting stolen you know. Appreciate you watching Jeff! 👊💪
@@TackleJunky81 Ya it sucks. I have a B&W 5th wheel hitch in the back of my dually and as far as I know they don't make a lock for that either? And that's like 1500. Unless your travel trailer is hooked up they can just pull it right out.
Thanks needed this
My pleasure!
Thanks for the video! We're so glad you like the product. Sorry we didn't see it sooner! Please let us know if you need anything!
No problem at all! Can you give me an email for me to contact you? If not here's mine if you wouldn't mind getting ahold of me. james.loduca@gmail.com
You work well :-0). Thank You for this video, This device is strong enough with a weight distribution Hitch?
Wow, I didn’t know they made anything like this! Does it stop or quiet down hitch noise when hauling a empty trailer?
Nice I'll have to get it for my dodge
👊💪
Just ordered one! Mine rattles so bad and it’s really annoying. Thanks for a great video.
Appreciate you watching! 👊
That is awesome. I have a solid shank, so I just use tape. I don’t know if they make something else.
Appreciate you watching brother! 👊💪
Sure, it eliminates rattle at the receiver, but how about eliminating rattle at the other points on that B&W hitch?
I noticed you didn’t grab the actual ball and give that a shake.
Thank you! I still have the same noise coming from the 3 pin adjuster. Guess there is no fix for that may as well just use a regular lock on the receiver
Nice. I've got the old U-bolt style. That's much cleaner, time to upgrade.
You'll dig it man!
Thanks Jim...now I have to buy something else...lol
Lol, you'll dig it man!
I just removed one of these that rusted so bad the bolt head snapped off, leaving the pin in place, what a NIGHTMARE!!!! Also, it was locking, and the owner did not have the key, so that head snapped off as well leaving the pin in the center of the hitch only and bolted in TIGHT. Also, it used a step-down hitch ball, leaving no space to reach inside to get at what was left of the pin. So how do you get that out? I will never use one of these!!!!
I've wanted to do this my hitch but can't. I have small SUV with a 1 1/4 receiver. Yes I've seen 1 1/4 anti rattle kits. My hitch is solid steel. Not tubing. No way to fit anything I side the hutch and ball mount.
Smaller hitches use 1/2 pin larger hitches use a 5/8 pin.
Only option I see for an anti-rattle would be to drill hole out in the solid ball mount and drill and tap it to accept a 5/8 diameter bolt.
Enlarged both holes in hitch to accept a 5/8 pin to pass through it.
Yeah I need one of those. My hitch rattles like hell. Now if they would make something to keep the wife from rattling on. LOL
🤣🤣🤣 If you figure that out let me know!
That pin is only rated at 12k lbs. My tow and stow is 21k lbs
Yes it eliminates left to right rattle, however it doesn’t eliminate up & down rattle. That’s my experience with this device. Just saying.
Big waste of time, money, and energy. Just use duct tape. I hammer my hitch in and hook to a chain to pull it out, no need for a lock even...............
