  • Ruvati 33 in. Workstation Two-Tiered Ledge Kitchen Sink
    DESCRIPTION
    Ruvati takes kitchen functionality to a whole new level with this 33″ long workstation sink that converts your kitchen sink to a full-fledged workspace. The sink comes with an array of built-in accessories and two-tiered tracks on the front and back for the accessories to slide on. The included cutting board will fit on either top or lower track, so you can slide one on top of the other. The cutting board is flat on one side, but when flipped, convert into a tray with raised edges. When you need more countertop space, the cutting board placed on the top or lower track will cover almost your entire sink. Now you can use all that extra space for food-prep, or for entertaining guests by turning the cutting board over into trays and placing plates, cups or serving dishes on them. The reversible cutting board is constructed of sapele wood (African Mahogany) - a luxurious hardwood that has a beautiful finish and handles water well. Also included with the workstation sink is a wood platform with mixing bowl and colander set, which fits on both the upper and lower tier. The foldable drying rack fits on the top track and is ideal as a dish drying rack. It is constructed of stainless steel bars and a flexible silicone frame allowing you to fold it to the right size or roll it up tightly for storage when not in use. A stainless steel rinse grid sits on the bottom of the sink and covers the entire bottom of the sink bowl. The grids protect the sink bottom during daily use, and allows you to dry dishes or large pots and pans. The large size of the sink means you can easily install two kitchen faucets with it, allowing two people to work at the same time. The 10″ deep bowl gives you plenty of space in the sink. The bottom of the sink is engineered for perfect water drainage. It features a 1″ slope from one end of the sink to the drain. The sink is reversible so it can be installed with the drain on left side or right side. With the extra-large size and all the built-in accessories, the Ruvati Workstation sink truly redefines your kitchen space and experience.

    We have the 33-in Ruvati as well, with the center drain because we had a dishwasher and a garbage disposal that required that location. We purchased ours on Amazon with the colander, cutting board, and foldable drying rack. I LOVE THIS SINK! All the extra gadgets she showed are nice if you have storage space which I do not, and don't need more bowls and stuff. The sink does come with countertop clips, but because we have very thick butcher block countertops, we did not use them at all. No problem. There is an excellent installation video available where the installer said do not use the clips. The sink is well insulated. You will not be disappointed. Definitely get the folding dish drainer accessory. I use it every single day. Have not even taken the cutting board out of the shrink wrap, and have used the strainer a few times.

    Thanks for the video. I am trying to decide between the Kraus or the Ruvati 33 in dual tier workstation. We are in the middle of a now 9 month recovery from a down to the dirt foundation replacement on our 1920s farmhouse that we thought would only need new flooring afterwards and we would be right back in the the swing of normal life. Haha, not even close. Decision exhaustion has set in on multiple fronts, but this one is feeling pretty good and it is nice to feel happy instead of locked up.

    Thanks for the review! I’m trying to decide on a new sink and I’ve been highly considering this one so this helped! Any new stuff to report since you’ve had it for a while now? Thx ☺️

    Great review. One question did the sink come with clamps to tighten like topmount sinks and if not how did you tighten it to the counterrop? Thanks in advance

    Did you buy additional accessories? I'm not finding this sink packaged with all the accessories you showed in our video. Thanks for the additional information.

      The sink came with accessories, purchased at Homedepot and picked up at the local store. I believe it's still listed on the web.

    Thanks for the video! How well does it drain food scraps ?

      Not bad, I keep the basket in the drain, sometimes a simple swirl with my finger is all it takes.

    Question: now that you had this sink for a few months, do you have any corrasion and scratches and bad spots?

    • @johnjzarra
      @johnjzarra  Před 2 lety +3

      Yes, lot's of spots. We have also done a water test and discovered we will be needing a water softener at some point. Hopefully, this will help clear up after that. I have to use CLR once a week.

      @@johnjzarra Did the spots go away after installing a water softener? Also, were the spots rust colored or are they more similar to hard water stains?

      @@PeacefulKnight Yes, spots have gone away since I installed the water softener.

    Did you mount this under the sink or did you keep it above like it is in the video?

      Still on top, we haven't decided how to complete the counter. But we love it so far.
