- The Joe Biden administration claims that U.S. aircraft left behind in Afghanistan are 'inoperable'. The Taliban say their engineers can fix all aircraft. But, how will they operate the Kabul airport & will they let Afghans leave? Palki Sharma gets you a report.

Taliban: *puts batteries back in place*
The Taliban can claim what they want - the Us troops are not dumb, if they damage or destroy the engines these aircraft and helicopters are just static objects, the Taliban won't get new engines, and even if they would a bigger engine would cost millions.
@@simonm1447 The only reason it costs so much is because of contracts. Soldiers have talked about how frustrating it is to transport technicians from the US when they only needed to change the wires. These exclusive contracts are also why the ice cream machine in McDonald’s is always broken. The FTC is investigating about the machines right now.

America already trained talibans for that including piloting aircraft choppers
@@renaldrivera9110 Definitely not true.
the Talibans have always been viewed as enemies of the United States. And so the statement that the Taliban received flight training from the americans is wrong.
What is more likely, however, is the fact that countless ex-millitaers of Afghans, instead of fighting, cowardly changed sides and joined the Taliban,
among them there may very well be some who have received flight training.
They don't even need to search on youtube, Russia and China is there to teach them..
I'd imagine we left the parts, tools, and instructions behind.
US military- we'll disable the aircraft rendering them unusable, by letting the tyres down! 😯⚠️😁
The news reporters don't know what they are talking about -- They are playing you! Some 75 US aircraft were de-militarized before we left. 45 others were flown to Uzebekistan.

Somebody is definitely being 'played', in my opinion this has been deliberate, maybe a deal behind closed doors was struck with the taliban in exchange for a swift transition in power? Who knows!
@@pdtech4524 No doubt the Taliban got a $20M Black Hawk - and have confiscated many great armored vehicles, thousands of small arms, and lots of Camo that makes them stick out like green thumbs in the desert. Ehhhhh, most of the stuff we see them use they stole from the Afghan gov when they ran like puppies.
You must not have served, cause if you have you would know that all this equipment requires constant repairs and maintenance. Without a proper supply chain it will be useless within a year. They most likely destroyed the flight hardware which is not easy to replace. Also, getting an aircraft to fly vs. combat ready are two totally different things. Think of the supply chain needed for all the aircrafts weapons, and the software/hardware that needs to run with command control. On top of all that will it be ready when needed and reliable in actual combat. Glhf

We have laws against that. Lockheed martin/sikorsky might sell them commercial parts for the commercial line but nothing military and ITAR, EAR regulated. That's just reality. I've had my accounts closed by companies that got U.S. military contracts because I work internationally and things we buy get exported. For them it's not worth the risk of selling something to me that I might export that they weren't supposed to sell to me, and too complicated for them to check everything I order. So easier and safer to just kill my account and keep their govt. contract.
It's taken really seriously around the world. Maybe they could get some of the Chinese made Z-20 knock off parts, no idea if those are compatible though, maybe they could get the commercial line parts, but they aren't getting anything military or weapons related. Didn't even bother burning or blowing up the equipment? What in the world?
A little bailing wire and chewing gun can get them in the air. Seriously they can get help from Pakistan and Turkey who use the same aircraft and have US trained maintenance techs in their military. Should not take too much money, maybe they can use some of the loot and weapons the US left behind to do a trade?
The Taliban troops now look like rock stars with guns. Thank you, America.
This is nothing but Entertainment for Media. This will disappear soon from Taliban.
Don't insult Rock Stars - Taliban look like Stone Age Primitive man, and I bet once the bullets have all been finished, they will dump those guns.
Actually they look like wicked minions of Satan, which whom are heading right to hell if they don't repent. The Father will not forgive them if they do not repent before a physical death. They may even possibly be struck down by God Himself, because He knows already if they are going to repent or not!
@@mrsWELCOME008 . Feminazi...
I appreciate that Daisy but frankly, I think we have underestimated this evil regime long enough.
So who’s going to run the rental car Department? Can only imagine what vehicles would be available...
“ We are Driven”
Those aircrafts and airport aint worth $1T dollars worth of lithium 😂 US still proffited
A week ago, the Taliban were complaining that all the well-educated citizens were fleeing Afghanistan. They'll learn the hard way that an Islamic studies degree is not very useful when you need engineers.
Well.... They defeated NATO without all this war booty! They only rely on God!
@@abyrahman6610 well they hid among the normal citizens n caves until the US troops decided to leave n then just resurfaced. What do you think, for 20 years they were speaking to their God for ideas?
@@abyrahman6610 yes, thank God for blessing Afghanistan with anarchy and constant war for 40+ years and counting
Even if these planes will be repaired, they will later claim Talibans' life. They will end up abandoning them!!
All that place will be is a giant outdoor Aviation Museum
You wish
That is not surprising at all. They are good at improvising mechanically.
I hope they don't turn of choppers fan when feeling cold.
China could easily modify the equipment and train them to rebuild the air force, even if small
Then they will become talibans eating pork dim sum
You know the equipment is not Chinese its American hardware and software. Would just be cheaper for the Chinese at that point to give them their hardware.
Tofu airplanes dropping from the sky. :D
@@kylemailey3670 they can modify it. China got their hands on a few civilian models of the black hawk and have reverse engineered it to make their own. They can easily modify it. In the 1980s, the U.S.,got their hands on some Soviet made migs, how else did we keep them flying?
@@28ebdh3udnav At great cost. Do you really think its a mater of patching holes and getting some bolts. They destroyed the avionics the radar computers things that are needed to make it actually work. Like I said inorder to make them operational would cost more than simply buying brand new china or russia or you name it. Thats why when they are seen going into the hanger all the noses are open and there is big black marks where they blew up the computers.
The people who don't even know how to wear jeans will now fix aircrafts 🤦🤦🤦
Why they should were jeans ,you fool.
@@danishmalik3272 OOO that's true they should roam In nude
Imagine how prosperous the country would be without war. They have natural resources and talents.
Taliban: we are going to make a public show of repairing these aircraft and building a real military but first we need to say a quick message to our sponsor Raid Shadow Legends.
I spotted Bajaj Pulsar Bike at 3:30😂
looked like it XD
Yeah man talibani riding a Bajaj pulsar 😁
The Afghans demanded more jobs. There you go people
They should've just blown those aircraft/arsenal instead of taking the keys away. That way it's very unlikely to be used by the taliban.
I’ll believe they can fix it when I see it.
Shattered windshield , deflated tyres USA considers as making them dysfunctional 🤣
I mean there was more then that done. lol But i understand what you are saying.
US gave as gift but can’t officially say so.
If US say so i'll believe it as long as it is related to engineering
During osama raid in abbotabad pakistan, the crash stealth helicopter was destroyed with bombs , they could have done something like that.
Taliban can now hand over Chinook and Blackhawks to china through pakistan and it is going to be a security lapse
@@EvolutionMachinetoMan China has had Blackhawks since the 1980s, they bought them openly from America.
