Will you talk about the little red church across the square ? It is the one that is now a restaurant. It was one of the original churches that the people in Syracuse used to hide the slaves down from the south to protect them from the slave masters. I went to that church after I left the Catholic Church. Back in the 60’s.

Just went to a wedding in this Cathedral and marveled as you have done in this video. Took pictures of the beautiful artwork and columns...sadly, some of the artistry portrays Mary as our intercessor".47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.." Mary needed a Saviour and thus, was not born without sin. The Catholic church believes she had no original sin...which is nonsense and places Mary as the 'Queen of Heaven"...which is not what she spoke of herself. Inside this Cathedral on the walls beautifully painted are these very statements about her. Which are untrue. The Catholic Church clearly took over these structures and filled them with Dead Men's bones and Idolatrous statues...which are contrary to the Word of God. Otherwise, the structure itself is excellent and may have in the Past been something else entirely made for the pure worship of God. People who do not understand this aspect of Catholicism think the "Immaculate Conception" is speaking of Jesus...which is Truth...but, they are not saying that at all in their Doctrine of Mary. Our only intercessor is Jesus.
