For my other 72 maverick I bought 65ish mustang floor pans since they don’t seem to make reproductions. The mustang pans are almost a direct fit and only require small modifications
@@matthewpeterson4305 typically I search marketplace and wait for a 4 door to pop up. Usually is a few around or another parts worthy 2 door. I used mustang floor pans and the rest of the sheet metal patches I made myself. There’s usually plenty of parts for sale used on eBay as well. Interior parts are cheap. I was able to get new carpet and headliner offline for a good deal. It’s out there. It’s just not as parts friendly as the mustangs are.
Where did you buy the floors for your maverick?

@@junkinjames6345 I found a cheap 72 maverick I thought about picking up but It appears no one really makes reproduction parts for them.

I would junk that transmission and put a 5 speed manual in it and drop a 5.0 litre 302 King Cobra engine in it.
I have another 72 maverick and I did exactly that. T5 and 302 out of a mustang.
