As a Scot, I'm more proud of our protestors than our team at the moment. This game should never have happened.
How about we allow the Palestine team to play in European football competitions? Only we can't, because apartheid travel restrictions imposed on them by Israel would make it next to impossible.
Israel shoots most of the good players in their legs and feet. A few years back, the IDF actually shot the most promising players at the border crossing as they tried to leave for an international game in the ME. Gaza now has a football league with one legged teams, and wheelchairs - it's heartbreaking, a generation of young men with one leg.
