      @@lch747 My Sport is the DPS model, so no different shocks.

    Amazing guys! I’ll be calling next week to place my order! I love my machine but definitely needs that kit to help the rough ride!

    Also very well done video as always!

    Finally some love for the little sport, are you currently offering or close on valving for the shocks?

    Are the measurements the same for the sport 60” model. Not the xrc ? The box directed me to this video.

    I know you guys aren't big on the yxz1000r and whatnot but for the guys that have them it might be a good idea to have one of these videos for them

      Nope, they hate the Yamaha YXZ.

    • @shocktherapy8610
      @shocktherapy8610 Před 4 lety +2

      We actually do quite a few YXZ a month. We have spring kits, internal shock mods and front sway bars for all models. We have done extensive testing on them as well. We also have an IQs system with ECU and wire loom for the YXZ. I will work on videos for these things very soon.

      @@DUNEATV Not true. We have plenty of products that improve the car tremendously and have a lot of time in development on all YXZ models. We just give you facts, good or bad and let you decide on your own. We have given plenty of information on how to help a YXZ just as we do with other models of UTV and most of our YXZ customers are very appreciative of that.

    • @DUNEATV
      @DUNEATV Před 4 lety +2

      Shock Therapy Yeah, people really respect your opinion because it’s based on your knowledge. Your video basically destroying the YXZ should have been followed up with a video on how to improve it with your skills and products. The YXZ is an amazing little car and at a price most people can afford...

      @ShockTherapyllc  Před 4 lety +1

      @@DUNEATV So, I completely agree with you on that. We should have touched on both sides of the spectrum there. But, just one thing, I just touched upon the geometry issue that creates the problem most YXZ customers ask us about. I never blasted the rest of the car. I race a X3 and I touch upon it's issues too, of which there are many. I will work on a vid covering the great things that are in the car. Thank you for the advice.

    My dual-rate springs are the same height front and rear. Shorter uppers, taller lowers. Given that it seams I need to set the pre-load and collars the same front and rear, correct?

  • @AZJMiller
    @AZJMiller Před 3 lety

    The ride height numbers you recommend are they with 30" tires? I have 32" on mine. would it be best to just weigh the car full of fuel and pretty much how you have it trail ready? I have alot of accessories on mine and don't know the weights of the exact parts. (I.e. extended cage, tools/spare parts, spare tire etc)

    do the 2020 turbo RR xrc/xrs/etc have the same issues of oblonging holes and all the other x3 issues from previous years?

    I purchased the "Duel rate springs" for my Canm SPORT XRC, and had them installed, but I have lost about 1 1/2 inches of ground clearance. How do I adjust to get the clearance back? Is it the bug nut on the top of the shocks?

    • @ShockTherapyllc
      @ShockTherapyllc  Před 3 lety

      The Big nut on top of the springs is a pre load nut and is the one to adjust. Jack the car up off the ground and you should be able to spin them down to raise the car. 1/4” of pre load is about 1/2” of ride height. Settle the suspentions between adjustments. Thank you

    How bout some printed instructions on your kits instead of the stupid stickers? They go in the garbage anyways.
