- Let's take a look at the Godox TT350 flash. In this video we take an in depth look at the flash, we do a hands on to see some of the most common features, complaints and how to address certain issues.
I tested this flash with a full frame camera, the one I have is a Sony A7IV camera. A good place to start is to look into the manual for the flash and see if it is compatible with your camera.

For those who are having trouble properly connecting the ZV-E10 and getting a compatibility error, the solution is to press a little harder until the flash fully clicks into place. Then it works perfectly.
Interesting comment about the deflector - could not get the zoom function to work and this was not mentioned in the instruction manual so sent it back to Amazon and repurchased another one which in retrospect has been a big waste of money for the company. Thanks for the tip.
great review. I spent ages wondering why I couldn't change the setting on the zoom button- push the stupid card all the way in - duh - thank you
Glad I could help!
Got mine today. Can't even take off the cover @2.26. Was yours a struggle to take off? I might have to just send mine back.
Thank you for the deflector tip. Mine was not in fully and I couldn't figure out why zoom option is disabled.
Happy to help!
Thanks for the informative video! I just bought the Godox TT350s for my Sony A7IV - is it hard to remove the flash off the hot shoe? I just tried putting on the flash onto my Sony A73 and I really had to push and push out when using the Godox flash. I was wondering if you had the same problem too? If so, do you think that will damage the hot shoe in the long run if we are constantly putting a lot of pressure pushing in & out through multiple uses. Thanks, look forward to your response!
With my A7IV Iâve had no issues. Itâs a little tight but nothing too much to handle. However Iâve read in other places on Facebook that the connecting shoe on TT350 breaks if youâre not careful. Type in Google A7IV tt350S tight and youâll see some posts regarding this. Hope that helps.
Yes, I too bought this flash and have the same camera as you. It was so tight to the point where I simply gave up. Put it this way, if you were fixing your car you would have to use pliers or a hammer to get it on. I kid you not, it really is that tight. So I sent it back.
What does adjusting the zoom do? Is it supposed to be the same mm as your lens? Does it automatically change when you zoom your lens in and out?
Yes itâs the focal length of the lens you are using it will spread the light more or less based on that. It can be set automatic or manual.
Thank you for sharing
i owned this..but i have no idea about that light zoom đ
Great video thanks !
Happy to help!
Thanks very informative!
how fast was the flash? one review said it only shot 1/250th does it go to 1/8000?
Yes it can on my a7iii , its also do very well with high speed continuous, i can do like a 3 second continuosly shooting with the flash. Hope this help !
I have a new A7IV and this same flash. I am getting a BIG delay between pressing the shutter button and the picture actually being taken, in all focus modes and mechanical shutter. Please help.
Sometimes itâs manufacturers issues I would say try using another one.
hello, I have the same setup but I have an issue, it says on the camera menu that the flash is either ânot attached correctlyâ or ânot working on this deviceâ, what should I do to connect the flash to the camera and make it flash when I shoot ?? đ
90% of the time putting in fresh batteries helps , if not then itâs something else
@@tech-asher I think my batteries are brand new, I can turn on the flash and test it, but I canât connect it to my A7 :/
I'm having the same problem and can't figure it out, so I'm placing my comment for an update đ
sir why battery percentage not showing.
I bought this flash myself, but I seem to have an issue where when I take the flash off my entire camera goes dark. Almost as if it is still recognizing the flash is still on the camera. Then I have to completely reset my camera in order for it to seemingly work again. Anyone else have this issue? Or know of any fixes for this issue?
Havenât seen that issue with mine, interesting
Agree. Faced the same issue. When I reset all settings itâs fine
Thanks for this video, i do have the exact same setup .
My Issue is, there is no setting change possible in the Body with this flash. Also it says in the Menue, incompatible device.. Have you had the same ?
Yes if I go to menu 16/53 and go to external flash set. It gives the same message where it says external flash not attached correctly or is not supported. I believe all settings for flash can only be made in the flash itself .
Thanks! I returned it and got the V1 instead. Anyways keep it up and all the best!
@@mariozulmin Did you like better the V1? I am devating which one to get, I also have the Sonya7iv
@@carlosimmersive6852 yes i love the V1, more expensive but also options on the flash.
Menue issue is the same though
hello guys, I have the same issue, it says on the camera menu that it is either ânot attached correctlyâ or ânot working on this deviceâ, what should I do to connect the flash to the camera and make it flash when I shoot ?? đ
Hi dear
I have a problem with flash itâs tt350 s
It flashed sometimes
And sometimes it doesnât
What should I do ?
Iâve seen similar instances where the TT350S refuses to flash but I turn everything off and on again and it works.

brother have you tried same with triggers, many videos in youtube saying it has issue with the TTL with every flash except sony's own flash.
I have not tried the triggers, but Iâve heard of the compatibility issues.
@@tech-asher Thank you sir
I have the x2t-s placed on sony a7iv hot shoe paired with tt350s, it works but only goes 1/250 shutter speed
Does this work for the Sony a7iii
Technically yes it should work since itâs the same hot shoe.
Bigger IS ALWAYS better. everyone knows this.
Is there a newer flash from Godox that is better?
I havenât seen a newer version but there is one that has a rechargeable battery, same form factor
