Thanks for teaching me something new Vernon! I’ve really only used power bait and spinners for trout but am excited to try these. Very informative and thorough!
Any time James! Give them a go. It helps to have another thing in your tackle box when the bite is not on on power baits.
I know nothing about using trout magnets, but it seems to me you hooked those very quickly! Great video, Vern!
Thanks Suzette. Some days it is easy and you get your limit in 15 min. And sometimes it takes the whole day. This was an easy day.
Good stuff. I've heard the trout magnet catches them. I have never tried that bait before even thought I bought a trout magnet "kit" last season for fishing the Utah steams/creeks. Maybe next year up there i will try one. Thanks for the lesson.
Thanks Dion, trout magnets are a great size and work pretty much anywhere, so give them a try.
The trout magnet also works great in moving waters 👍. Thanks for sharing and very informative as always!
Thanks Gone Fishing. I will remember that when fishing some streams,
Great insight and tutorial on using trout magnets! Love the content in your videos!
Thanks Kevin! I appreciate it!
Awesome trout fishing video. 👍
Thanks First Catch! 'tis the season for it.
Great Video Vernon, this was very informative for me as I have recently purchased the the trout magnets to try ou
Nice, give them a try! Thanks D Jr.
Never heard of trout magnet, Looks cool and nice job catching
You should get some Casual Girl, think it's $2 at Walmart. Great for any fishing.
Great video and thanks for sharing 👉🏻🎣👍🏻
Thanks Jerry!
Hey Vernon! Looks like good fun! Might have to head out to Boulder soon! Don’t use jigs much for trout but might have to! I love casting spoons and spinners when it comes to trout in lakes and ponds! Tight lines!
Hi Michael. When you aren't getting any bites on the spoons, the trout magnets are a good sub. If the big trout are all caught early on, some smaller lures work great for the smaller stocked trout. But I have to say, I have been catching some decent fish on the magnets.
Finally Fishing 👍
Great video Vernon! I’ve used silver and yellow/Orange tails and they seemed to love it, I will try trout magnet, next time I get a chance. Thanks for the tips!
Great, thanks Leonel. It helps to have some diversity in you tackle box.
you all prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an instagram account..?
I somehow lost my account password. I would love any help you can give me
@Kasen Alfredo instablaster :)
@Lyric Rodney i really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and Im in the hacking process now.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Lyric Rodney It worked and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my account !
Great video man.
Thanks for watching monsterofthemidw
Just realized that I saw you today at floyd lamb. Keep up the good work!
Hey, thanks! Will do!
Hey Vernon, I circled back to this video to see if you will be doing an updated Boulder City pond video? My wife and I may be heading there tomorrow
I'll be there tomorrow morning
I was out there yesterday for a hour or so. You need time and cast in deep. the fish are in deep as there is no cormorants chasing them right now.
Great video vernon thats the day i saw you stay safe tight lines .
Indeed it was Angel Juarez. Thanks for saying Hi, it helps to know who's commenting.
Man my brother was there today and he got skunked again. It's a steep learning curve out here. Ty for sharing
Thanks for watching Paw Pals. It can be tough, but stick to the basics, and try some new things every time. That's how we learn and that's how you will get them.
Finally Fishing heck yeah I can't give it up. I'm addicted to fishing 😀
nice video , jig , split shot and no bobber , I have never seen using trout magnet on that way . I'm gonna try.
Thanks Albert, has been working real good for me lately, so give it a try.
Trout Magnets catch EVERYTHING. The trick is being able to cast them and keep then close to bottom (sorry, but no split shot, reduces sensitivity), which requires very light line. 2# floro or ester is ideal. True 4# (.16 mm) is also acceptable. 1/64 or 1/32 jig heads. UL ,or even better an SUL, rod. If you're worried about bigger fish, don't be. Have brought in 7# catfish on 2# line just keep the drag set very light.
Thanks Ron! What you are saying makes sense, will try scaling down my line size.
What if the water is too deep? How would you get it closer to bottom with no weight?
@@justinvasquez4524 you look for a shallower location. 20' is just about the practical limit and you'll need to use a heavier jig head, 1/16 oz at most.
@@RonMTube thank you for replying man! I been really trying to gather information about these magnets.
I'm always slaying them on trout magnets
That's good Fishin N Riggin. Any tips or hints you could add?
Awesome
Thanks Travie! Do you use trout magnets?
@@FinallyFishing no I use power baits I’m pretty new to the trout fishing game but I caught one at mulberry lake 😁😁 every time I go out I keep an eye out too see if I can come out in one of the videos lol
@@FinallyFishing I also want to try out that spot in this video never been there might try out the trout magnets there
What are your favorite colors for the trout magnet?
Wow, good question Kari. I have never thought about it. I prefer natural colors like the green and watermelon, but I have caught more fish on the yellow. It seems smaller fish prefer yellow things. So let's go for yellow.
You do more talking than you do fishing Vernon
Hi Cassie. Some videos are just fishing, but I do get people asking questions about fishing. So many videos are more teaching orientated. Still trying to find the right balance. But thanks for the feedback.
Trout magnets always killed in PA
I can believe that. Helps to have a few ways to target them.
