Last time I was in London (2017) we took this walk down to Borough Market - a wonderful stroll away from traffic noise with views of the river. The market is foodie heaven but I wonder if they are restricting access, since it’s usually quite crowded. We bought our lunch there and ate in the neighboring yard of Southwark Cathedral, a beautiful church you can tour as well. What a splendid way to spend a day in London. Bring your comfy walking shoes! It amazing to see so many people sitting outdoors; this will be our new normal going forward. And all the conversation! It’s great to see people talking instead of having their faces buried in their phones.

Absolutely stunning. This whole area and skyline looks lovely at this time of night. Nice to see the people out enjoying themselves again, this area at least is looking like it's resembling the way it was before 2020 (that's the last time we were able to walk along here on our holiday, fingers crossed our planned late June holiday will be able to go ahead this year). Things are certainly looking brighter and more positive, and that's good for us all 😀
