When I was cleaning up the channel, I found a BUNCH of videos we never did Full Stories on. So I made a list of about 12 of them and as many of you know a bunch of the series we are working on are a part of it. Also, as many of you will ask I'll just answer now. IMMORTAL HULK IS WRAPPING UP ON THURSDAY. I held the ending til the movie.

lets take a moment to realize that the hulk was genuinely happy with a wife ,a future kid on the way and a planet he didn't have to hide from that the inhabitants truly loved him. And lost it all but instead of killing earth he was just more sad than anything else.
It's worse: she had twins. Hulk lost a living wife, twins on the way, and a kingdom that truly saw him as a hero. Pain is barely accurate a descriptor.

@@prabhatmehta6056 you seem to be thinking I missed this fact, but, my original comment was in acknowledgement that it meant hulks vengeance is/ was just. It wasn't the rider who walked away either. Blaze is the rider, the angel azazel, raziel?, is the spirit of vengeance. Hulk was inadvertently killing hundreds of humans which is what prompted blaze in wanting to fight him, however, the spirit of vengeance literally takes over and drives away. That wasn't the rider, aka, johnny, who drove away. The spirit of vengeance, the angel himself, took control of Johnny and drove away. Just think about that for a moment. Hulk was angry because he thought some of the heroes had sent him out to die, as well as blamed them for attaching the nuke to his ship, which ultimately killed his new wife and planet. (His kingdom at least.) And even though Hulk finds out the truth later and is ultimately calmed down by this fact, his actions had killed thousands and the angel had still deemed his intentions as just. It speaks volumes about how gods and deities would perceive human life. Anything is just so long as your intentions are pure, apparently, yet what is just is not always right either. Good things can be done for bad reasons and vice versa, bad things can be done for good reasons. The only difference is in which your perspective allows you to perceive it. So, in the end, what need for angels is there for human justification? The answer is there isn't any. Godhood is a state of mind; one easily corrupted and susceptible to human emotion. A natural side effect of sapience and self awareness. Abraham Lincoln once said, "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.”
With HULK causing that much destruction in a city as populated as New York it would be nearly impossible for Hulk and the Warbound to not have accidentally killed innocent bystanders and pedestrians. So no I don’t think him destroying the earth attacking everyone was justified. An Eye for an Eye makes the whole world blind.
@@LeSeulGarcon as far as vengeance was concerned it was justified, which is why I went on a little spiel about it in my prior comment. These angels and gods don't care about human life and all its intricacies, the sanctity for them is in life itself. Blazes angel may have been acting on self preservation, but he still chose to acknowledge Hulks vengeance as well, a vengeance that most definitely led to human loss of life. Not just at hulks hands but his companions as well. It's been a while since I read / watched thus, but, I'm pretty sure the comic directly acknowledges that Hulk and his companions were killing people. Which is why Blaze was so eager to fight hulk, but the spirit of vengeance didn't care at all about the humans dying. He took over Johnny and drove away.... Maybe I'm reading into it a little too deeply but that is some amazing storytelling, imo.

Most of those people had nothing to do with his fury. He wasn't there for revenge. Well, not entirely. He was mostly looking for a way to vent his pain, and perhaps, to find someone that could kill him.

Humans hunting him down, People he Considered or Thought were his Friends & Would Either Betray him or Die on him & it all goes back to Bruce Banner's Childhood when Banner was the Subject of Child Abuse from his Own Cruel Father.

Patrick Bernard its not just the power difference but the attitude of the character, hulk has lost fights in comics but in the avengers when Thanos beat him he was so scarred he didn’t even wanna come out. That part of Thor Ragnarok is pretty much the Planet Hulk story but with (as mentioned in the video) Thor taking Hulk's place and Hulk taking the Silver Surfer's place.

As Gino said they legally can't make a stand alone Hulk film so they took elements from Planet Hulk and had them star Thor instead, while still including Hulk to pay some respects to the source material. Really a lot of the MCU stories are either scaled back versions of comic storylines or completely original stories with a bit of lip service paid to famous moments. Sometimes that can leave you wanting a straight up adaptation like with Planet Hulk, or sometimes you can say that they completely improved the story it was initially based on like with Civil War. I personally think it's great that they've really crafted their own identity with the MCU while still respecting the characters and where they came from.
The X-Men part was very touching knowing what the X-Men had been going through as all Mutants faced rasism. They were treated like pests and anyone that hates them is treated like someone whose opinion can't be argued against.
Fuck em, and fuck all the heroes and everyone who stood in Hulk way.

I find it amazing how “World Breaker” Hulk only existed for like 10 seconds in the comics but every time a power scaler mentions him they take the feats from “World War” Hulk. Like seriously 1 step caused an earthquake from New York City all the way to the east coast not mentioning anything that happened west of New York.

I loved the cartoon adaptation of Planet Hulk, I can't believe they didn't see the story all the way through like this. Epic story, and very sad as well.
Little me was very surprise when i learned of the real ending to planet hulk
I'm glad the movie ended on a high note. Hulk will always be a tragic character but it's nice that he gets a happy ending timeline once in a while.

Cousim Who was In an accident an needed blood transfusion but the Only blood that would work was bruces, buuut since bruces blood is gamma radiated it mutated his cousins blood into that of human and hulk. She became she hulk. A female version of hulk but not as strong as the original.

it was shown in a what if comic where he was'nt bloodlusted but wanted revenge he punked every hero and sentry without a scratch and after that laser all of the surrounding heroes were killed but hulk lived later that massacre allowed skrulls to invade and take over earth so hulk summoned galactus and later he became galatus's strongest herald

Thats the beauty of it is relatable ....
honestly they did such a good job in the climax, i couldn't have thought of a better way to create a situation where hulk is "the angriest he has ever been", the situation was just too grating, that was enough to break a man and it did. Not only did he lose his wife but he found out the friends he made on that planet betrayed him and he caused all that fear and destruction for nothing. The twist at the end was truly brilliant and its hard to put it in to words, if i have ever been awe struck by shameless marketing grabs like "hulks final breaking point" or whatever it would be now.
I loved and was really into the story! But I found it unfortunate/ depressing that

it was the other War Bound who betrayed Hulk by causing the explosion that killed his wife...
Also left baffled as I heard a story of a son from that union called Scare who went to earth wanting Hulk’s head... Idk the comic universe is too complicated lol...
He didn't even mention that meik(war bound) was the one who set the ship to blow up,
because he wanted hulk to get mad and continue rampaging..
Pretty much the hero's were also innocent and had nothing to do with the explosion that killed hulks wife, and kid..

Man this is the best thing I found on CZcams in a while, working from home was never this good and I could never catch up on every comic out there without you. Keep it up man, you're doing a great job.
The thing that made me angry is that instead of facing the music and owning up to what they did Blackbolt, Tony, Strange, and Reid all tried to blame The Hulk and got other heroes to fight for them when they were in the wrong that is what makes me upset that they all blamed Hulk for what he was doing when what happened to him was so much worse than what he was doing to them and that made me think those four sent him away and caused the death of his wife then had the audacity to blame him yet they were at fault and had they went and faced him the whole story could have played out differently
This was amazing, I never get tired of this story. That's why I guess I'm so disappointed in the MCU's version of hulk so underwhelming none the less great great story. Keep up this series bro......

The MCU can't really do the Hulk justice because they don't own the rights to him. They are only able to borrow him from Universal as a side character in stuff like Avengers movies but not stuff centering around him like this.

They need to do overall nerf on every character for the movies and some major buffs because of the need for consistency. Comics are full of plot holes and inconsistency, the major nerf was the infinity stones and gauntlets because by definition alone there's no possible way for the wielder to lose, but because of plot holes Thanos lose a couple of times.

I would've loved to see a "hulk running a planet" story line happening for a while. rebuilding/terraforming Sakaar and gaining the envy of the galaxy, and the ire of the avengers, who thing he will come back the destroy earth.
One of the greatest Marvel stories ever. Truly a must read/have for any Marvel fan. World War Hulk is such a dope idea and I'd love to see it adapted into maybe a new animated movie WITH a sequel of his return to Earth, a video game would be crazy, and a live action wouldn't be bad either, anything really this story deserves it.

It's a shame that this story couldn't have played out on the big screen.. it could've been epic.. like Russell Crowe's Gladiator times 100.. smh.. but studios fear Hulk is not marketable.. they just need to bypass all the fluff and origin story (everyone pretty much knows Hulk's origin at this point.. there's no way, if done correctly, that a Planet Hulk/WWH film series would underperform at the box office..

He's had a well known TV series starring Lou Ferrigno and Bill Bixby in the 70's and 80's, he's had cartoon series in the 90's and 00's, there's the multiple Avengers cartoons, he's had like 2 movies in recent years that have both touched on his origin.. if people, like you I'm assuming, dont know his origin at this point, then I don't know what to tell you bruh.. that rock you and "others who don't even know" have been living under must be really big.. if anything, they can do a origin in the opening credits like Synder did in BvS for Batman.. that should appease you living under a rock folks..

In that comic, there was a reality split. In one, superman won (the one everyone thinks about) but in another, Hulk kicked his ass. In both, Hulk and Superman both say that, that was the hardest fight they ever had. The difference being in hulk's story, he held back.🤣
To me that doesn't even count as a fight that was fan voted, if marvel and DC ever do decide to go back at it I hope that it isn't fan voted that way the fights can be fair

Love how the girl in the Xmen yells at the hulk saying they felt his pain but he hasn't seen it no no they havent yes mutants were nearly wiped out but they still lived as where the pain hulk felt was him losing his wife and child and most of a world he fought for... they havent didnt feel what he did they didnt die and the Xmen had no right to see the hulk as a significant threat if they believed in the professor then they would understand the hulk and how he feels...

And the fact that the hulk let's Xavier go even though the mutants honestly have no idea what their talking about just makes them look like clowns. No better than the humans that made them suffer so much. If they really understood hulk pain then they would understand why Xavier had to answer for his involvement.

This is my favorite comic book story by far. Hulk has always been my favorite marvel character. He's just so bad ass. Extremely disappointed in how the MCU handled the hulk but luckily I've got comic books to geek out over the hulk and how incredibly strong he is.

If I worked at Marvel I would create a story called Planet Hulk: Exodus.
Where the Sakarrans stranded on Earth traverse the stars with Hulk as their king to find them a new home, but the aliens in space hate this intrusion from the Hulk and view it as an act of aggression from the Earth as it's literally like sending a WMD into the atmosphere.

I don't know the lore for ghost rider (the real ghost rider) but it seems as though Hulk was holding back the entire time(considering hulks power is endless as Long as he gets angrier) Hulk could probably destroy him if he got angry enough just like he did sentry.
Pure ghost rider is the literal embodiment of all of hells vengeance, and seeing as its home of the dammed, that’s an endless source of power as well. The only difference being Rider doesn’t have to get angry, or wait to power up in any way. It’s just there, ready to kill at any time

This arc is part of the reason I don’t really read hulk books. It’s because no matter if it’s comic hulk or MCU hulk his powers are drastically buffed or nerfed depending on what is needed in the story. Hulk… a monster with almost limitless strength depending on his rage is defeated by the red king and his goon but is then able to do things like face off against and beat most of the marvel heroes, alternate versions killed the marvel heroes, destroyed planets, etc.
His wife, and new life may have been taken away but the most painful of all that really broke him is the betrayal of his friends, both old and new.
He also had peace when he went to the sub-atomic world and ruled it with Jarella
If Audiobooks were read like this I would have listened to a million books by now lolololol hahhahhha

They could’ve reversed this with a full blown Avengers level movie w/ Hulk either being used or having a meltdown, having to wind up fighting the others, then he gets booted into Space where Thor messes about with him in Ragnarok and brings it back around for Infinity War.
What I’m saying is they wasted a perfectly good chance for Hulk to rock the planet.
